It all started with a family trip over winter break in 2021 to New Orleans. Joe, a self-proclaimed doughnut connoisseur, was introduced to the “French doughnut,” AKA the beignet. Fast forward to early 2022, back in St. Louis, Joe can’t stop thinking about the tasty treat and begins to research how to bring beignets home to St. Louis. Joe began creating a unique special beignet recipe, and the frying began!
After testing and refining his original recipe, Beignet All Day was launched in May 2022. Beignet All Day’s tagline, “New Orleans treat with a St. Louis twist,” brought Joe’s beignet recipes to the people of St. Louis. The “St. Louis twists” are the numerous toppings offered, along with unique savory beignets.

The cinnamon roll beignet is a dangerous game, and I played it hard and dangerously. Ordered mine a la mode because if it’s hot, it needs ice cream. Hearing no arguments. We sat on the patio, and I inhaled everything like a true professional. Dessert requirements – check!

Neat little place. We got the traditional beignets and Community coffee with chicory. Small bar seating area inside. Tables outside. Beignets made here.

Our first time to try these yummy treats. We drove 20 minutes and was not disappointed. The beignet are a good size. We ordered 3 and I could only eat 1 1/2. Saved the rest for later. The owner made them right on the spot so they were nice and warm. We had the original and cinnamon.
I look forward to going back and trying some of the other toppings.

Thank you Beignet All Day for your generosity! A Co-worker brought in beignets for our team and the variety of flavors and sauces/whipped cream for dipping was perfect. The Melba, Lemon and strawberry were my favorites!

I had delicious gluten free beignets. Half lemon delight and half raspberry. The taste and texture were outstanding. The food safety was impeccable, with separate storage and a dedicated gluten free fryer. The staff were kind and knowledgeable and fun. I recommend you check this out. We will be back the next time we are through STL.

Delicious taste from New Orleans! I’m glad my husband and I didn’t share this delicious dessert. Fresh made while you wait and served hot with a variety of toppings. Definitely will make this a regular stop when we visit St. Louis.
