A spectacular addition to the area. The food and service was excellent, but what stood out were the plethora of delicious kombucha options and the cocktail menu created with them. Every kombucha was extremely pleasant to drink and new or experienced kombucha drinker will enjoy them all. The atmosphere was modern and inviting with a large communal table in the middle meant to encourage meeting new people!

This is a real bright spot in Waterloo. There is something for everyone here, whether it is a sit down meal, a beer, or obviously the best Kombucha in Iowa. The cocktails are dangerously great as well, all with top notch service. Way to go, Verve!

Went there today – my first experience with Kombucha so I have nothing to compare the tea quality to. They had eight flavors to select from for a four-glass flight. All flavors were interesting, none that I wouldn’t get again but none that I’d want a full glass of either. Was a nice crowd there – service was a bit slow but not objectionable. Fries were great – used Old Bay seasoning on them. Had the weekly special donut burger. Tasty but can’t say the donut was any better than a bun. Good place if you are looking for something a bit different, but I’d still prefer a brewery with a flight of beer.

Food was really good and the Kombucha is top notch! Excellent service too. The location is within walking distance to many other restaurants and bars too. I’m excited to visit again and try a more dinner or lunch menu. I had brunch today. Brunch was good though. I also love the fact that they encourage us to be social with others but offering family style communal tables almost like a beer taproom.

Absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere. I’m not one to branch out on trying new food but glad I did! If you want to try something new, they have such a unique menu and this is the place to go to try new food! Waiters are extremely courteous and helpful. 10 stars! We live 2 hours away, and I would definitely make the drive back just for the food!

We were looking for a good breakfast before our kids headed back to Chicago. Went to one spot downtown where there was a line, service looked really slow and wait staff stressed. So we saw this nearby and decided to give them a try. What a find!! We could be outside as we had a dog with us (they got a bowl of water for him). Wait staff was over the top! Food was excellent. We had the avacado toast, the veggie egg bowl and the breakfast sandwich. Highly recommend this place.

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, reasonable price points. The food was light & well prepared. The Kombucha wasn’t heavy & didn’t have an overbearing taste. We tried it out for brunch, we’ll definitely go back to sample meals from the other menus. Definitely a must stop eatery in Waterloo, located conveniently next door to the Waterloo Bicycle Works, & Cedar Valley Sportsplex (so you can work off those delicious calories)

Stopped in for brunch not knowing what to expect and was so delighted we did. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. They bottle Kombucha on the premises, how awesome is that? The atmosphere is open and airy. A very unique experience. We will definitely be back!
