Big restaurant, classic decor, and delicious food. Really glad we found this spot during our time in Connecticut. The fried rice is phenomenal and I really enjoyed their fish filet in a chili oil. We also went back a couple days later for dim sum. They do not do the classic dim sum carts which I always enjoy. But the food came out to order and was great. Definitely recommend stopping by here if you are in the area. Awesome authentic Chinese food.
Now for my standard comments. Huge parking lot and comfortable indoor seating. Location is clean and well kept.

Almost as good as some places in nyc/Boston. Sometimes even better. Definitely very traditional Cantonese food. Some dim sum are still a bit lacking but the classics are usually pretty good. The best dim sum in CT.
When it is less busy in the kitchen the food quality is even better

Came for the dim sum but I guess it’s only served before 3. No big deal! We ordered shrimp tempura rolls, (no pic) sesame chicken, some apps, chow fun, hot and sour soup and salt & pepper squid—- all of which were delicious! That’s all Americanized Chinese food but they had this other menu that looked to be more authentic. Looking forward to venture and try different dishes next time everything sounds so good.

Impressive exterior with fortress like design, waterfalls and small ponds with koi fish you can feed ( there’s a quarter machine inside with fish food ). Nice and clean inside, good service. Note that most of the pictures with various small plates available ONLY for lunch time until 3pm. We’re going to come back for that. The dinner menu was very decent, large portions. We got scallion pancakes, spring rolls and salt and pepper fried squid. Chicken teriyaki, egg drop soup and happy family seafood plate. Overall very good experience, nice and picturesque ride. We’ll be back!

I’ve never had such awful food or experienced such terrible service in my life.
I came here based on recommendations, thinking I’d have a good meal. Ordered my favorite XO sauce rice noodle rolls, only to be served the hardest, blackest, most disgusting version of it I’ve ever seen. It was so tough it nearly cracked my teeth, completely inedible, and utterly flavorless inside.
At first, I politely asked if they had overcooked it. The owner straight-up lied to my face, insisting it wasn’t burnt, claiming that “this is just how it tastes, our regulars all know it.” Clearly trying to take advantage of us being first-time customers, they kept making excuses instead of acknowledging the issue.
I even pulled up photos from others who had recommended this dish to compare. They saw the pictures and still tried to weasel their way out, saying the chef had changed or even denying it was their dish at all. No remake, no refund—just a blatant “too bad, deal with it” attitude.
I have never in my life hated a restaurant so much. I’m not someone who likes to argue, and I’m definitely not picky. But I drove one to two hours just to get here, and this is what I got? This food? This service? This attitude???

Great food, portions, variety and pricing.
Excellent Hong Kong style dim sum.
Location is behind another building so it’s a little hidden.

Our first time here, recommended by a friend. A little hard to find since it looks like an abandoned building from the road, but well worth driving in. We had 2 sushi rolls and a few appetizers. The food was excellent! 2 rolls were more than enough for 2 of us. Disappointed in the beer selection, but hey, it’s a Chinese restaurant. Didn’t expect a good tap list. Will definitely be back. $50 for apps, food and drinks, can’t go wrong.

My colleague from china brought us to this place and it was well worth the 45mins drive from New Haven. Never thought I would be a fan of chicken feet :). Try the desert egg yolk custard and steamed rice with sausage. Attached is everything we tried
