It’s your standard Mexican restaurant menu and atmosphere. Good service; our waiter was very attentive. The food was just average. It came out hot, but wasn’t anything to write home about. Overall three stars, but we’ll probably give them another chance after they’ve been open for awhile since it’s close to home.

We thought we’d try a new place, and it was the worst mistake!!!!! The food was absolutely horrendous! They put oregano in EVERYTHING! Who puts oregano in Mexican food? We couldn’t hardly eat anything except for the rice, and even something as simple as a cheese quesadilla was burnt. My bill was over 50.00 and it literally made us sick. Not only that, but they also charged me to use a card to pay for this disgusting mess. Im so disappointed . Only thing I can say good abt our meal was the waiter. He was very nice! If I were you I’d stick with El Abuelo in Whiteland, thry never disappoint!

Ate here a handful of times and it used to be good! Tonight it was not and sadly we will not return. The salsa tasted like marinara sauce more than it tasted salsa and the chips were hard. The rice was bad and tasted like nothing. Had a table of 5 and all of our meals were just not good unfortunately. We also had to reach over and get our own silverware. No refills offered the whole time. I don’t like to complain on reviews but when there’s a Mexican restaurant on every corner around here… do better. 🙁

Jose & Tequila House Mexican Restaurant generously donated a delicious meal for our mentees and mentors during a local LinkUP! event!! The food was fresh, staff was so helpful, and nothing was missed in the order. It was a really great experience! Thank you, Jose, staff & Tequila House!

If it wasn’t for Eddie, I would have felt so out of place. Eddie treated me the same as he did the other customers. I was the only African American in the restaurant eating. All the other waiters never asked how I was doing or did I need anything but constantly checked on the white customers. I asked one waiter for a to go box. He never gave me one but hurried and gave the white couple a to go box that was sitting across from me. Told Eddie I needed a t9 go box, and he brought me on right out. Thank you Eddie.

We took my parents there for their Wednesday 1/2 price entree night for seniors. The food was fantastic, the service prompt and courteous, and Angel made sure to answer questions and even offered to make the guacamole sans onions. He was super friendly and helpful.
Will definitely be back.

We were very pleased with the buffet!!! This place is a hidden treasure. The food was wonderful. There were many options, fajita style chicken, fajita style beef, Shredded chicken, warm tortillas, unlimited queso, sour cream, beans and rice.
I’m not sure why there are any bad reviews. We got here shortly after 11 and the place was clean, the staff was very friendly, the cost was low, and the food was great.
5 out of 5 stars from us!

We stopped at Tequila while passing through from out of town, and it ended up being the perfect lunch spot. We didn’t have much time, but everything worked out perfectly. The food was phenomenal, the service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere had that classic, vibrant feel you’d expect from a great Mexican restaurant. Honestly, I just wish we didn’t live two hours away—we’d be regulars if we were closer!
