We had 9 people all together, 5 kiddos and EVERYONE was happy. Burgers and bun excellent!! Sub sandwiches excellent!! Fries could be a meal on their own. Staff was super patient, fun and timely. Go there. It will be worth it. The art on the wall was cool and fun too

GREAT SERVICE & GREAT FOOD. The BBQ chicken panini was the bomb! Their parmesan fries were tasty. The prime rib egg rolls were delish & the ceasar salad with chicken was excellent as well. Bartender was friendly and served up some original libations. They serve draft/bottled beer, liquor, & mixed drinks! 🙂

Stopped by to grab a bite and enjoy a date night with some simple card games. The service was fast and over the top hospitable. Ordered the parmesean fries and was blown away, so crispy absolutely perfect. Followed up with the best smash burger I have ever had!!! Do not sleep on the homemade jalapeño jam. Cannot wait to come back. Best sandwhiches in Wendell.

Had an awesome experience at Ash & Dill Gastropub! The atmosphere was lively, warm, and inviting — a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. I ordered the Cluckin’ Good Sub, and it absolutely lived up to its name. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the toppings were fresh, and the whole sandwich was just perfectly balanced. Easily one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had in a while!
The fries were decent — nothing groundbreaking, but a solid side that complemented the sandwich well. What really made the visit even better was the excellent customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

I cannot say enough good things about this hip, corner pub. We came on a busy night with only two girls working, but they remained calm and friendly and quick with everyone. Their service was above and beyond.
My friend and I split a meatball sub and fries, and both were amazing. Coming from an Italian, I’m not sure I’ve had a better meatball sub anywhere else. And the fries were crispy and fresh – I’m not a fan of fries but these ones were done right! So delicious.
The restaurant, again in spite of being slammed and only two people working, was clean and welcoming and accessible.
The only complaint I have is not even anything to do with the restaurant (we sat outside and some strangers started talking to us. That’s not a problem to be friendly.. but what is a problem is to not take a hint when people are politely trying to tell you they want to spend time with each other, and didn’t really appreciate having smoke blown in my face and ashes nearly dropped on my dog). Maybe sit inside, and you’ll be fine!

I had a sandwich that was delicious and a house salad, that was absolutely perfect. All chopped up and just the right amount of ranch. It was so good I had to come back today for a second meal! Great dining experience here. The ADG Club sandwich… So good! Today it’s a house salad with a side of meatballs and a BLT!

The best eatery in downtown Wendell, hands down. The best fries I have had in years. Paninis are spot on. Staff is friendly and attentive. Solid drink menu. A&D has become my daily lunch spot.

We enjoyed our visit to Ash &Dill. The service was good, they served Red Oak and the food was delicious. I’m a meatball snob so was hesitant to order them here and they are a bit high price. However, they were so tasty I will absolutely order them again! The other standout in our order we’re the fries. Perfectly seasoned, light on the inside, crispy on the out and generously portioned, I’ll look forward to these again, too.

Stopped by Ash and Dill the Friday after Christmas. The place was full, we had a party of 9. There’s not organic seating for large parties, but we smashed some high tops together and made it work.
The waitress was attentive and brought drinks fast. However, things started to hiccup when taking orders. Between us, we ordered a regular spicy cheeseburger, a spicy cheeseburger no aoili no onions, two classic cheeseburgers plain, a regular classic cheeseburger, two buffalo chicken tenders appetizers, and a kids cheeseburger. The waitress asked what temperature we wanted our burgers cooked.
When the food came out, every burger was well done. Both plain burgers had everything on them. The buffalo tenders were covered in ranch, which wasn’t listed on the menu and something we would’ve asked to be on the side or totally removed.
All that said, the flavor of the burgers was great, the buffalo was deliciously spicy, the candied jalapenos were fantastic. The food came out decently fast.
Perhaps there was just a miscommunication between server and kitchen.
