What an awesome family restaurant and bar. Our waitress, Tori, was very helpful in making selections & when she helped out owner in kitchen, rest of staff filled right in. I had traditional breakfast with eggs cooked too perfection & delicious hashbrowns but my sister won the lottery with the MC Hammer, double sizzlesteak with grilled onions, cheese and A1. Delicious! And someone got steak and it looked yummy. Definitely worth going back too. Oh, and the prices were very reasonable!

We were in Miller City at dinnertime on a Friday night. After scanning the local restaurant scene online, and we decided to try Mack and Rita’s. It was a decent decision. Mack and Rita’s is a small place. But boy, was it packed with people. From families to seniors to young adults.
Among us, we had burgers, fries, mushrooms and cheese curds. Everything was well prepared and tasty. The burgers were “once you pick it up and take a bite, you hold it til you’re done or it’ll become a mess” tasty. The fries were perfectly crispy without being overdone. I didn’t sample the mushrooms, but they looked good. The cheese curds…well, they’re cheese curds. I’ve never had a bad one.
In all, we had a good dining experience. The food was good and prepared in an adequate wait time. The restaurant is on the smaller side, and you definitely feel a bit of a scrunch when it’s busy. And when it’s busy, it’s on the louder side. That makes it not conducive to involved conversations. If you’re hankerin’ for a burger and fries, and are in the area, check out Mack and Rita’s.

Small town bar, excellent greasy burgers and finger food. Quick staff, your beer will never stay empty. You should stop our here at least once to check it out.
