Very good! I’ve been passing this place for years saying I wanted to go in and we finally did. Seafood was fresh and delicious. Specials are out of the box and plentiful. Loved sitting in the outdoor area and enjoying the beer we brought with us. No frills, but none are needed. Our server was a sweetheart and on the ball.

Prices are UNBEATABLE! Especially because we have a campground 4 minutes down the road. We used to pay $35+ each for all you can eat crabs. The Price at Junior’s for a dozen number twos is so much cheaper, in a very fun BYOB environment with a great party vibe outdoors. We got a few dozen crabs, hush puppies, the raw sampler with oysters and clams, fries and a kids meal all for way less than we would pay in wildwood or Cape may. (Less than we would have paid for 3 “all you can eat” crabs at those locations). Our server also brought us a dish of the “claws that fell off” which was a nice touch. We had enough left to take home for tomorrow! Staff was friendly, attentive, and pleasant. The owner took the time out to come and say hi. Always love that- shows pride and care in an establishment. Outdoor area comfy and cute, set up with picnic tables and a goldfish pond in a tented area. We will be back all summer long. It was great to bring our own beer! So happy we tried this joint.

Nice outside seating, however we sat inside bc of the humidity. To start, we had the special appetizer. Pan seared scallops with oyster mushrooms and a peanut butter glaze. So good we ordered another. The crab bisque was delightful. It wasn’t super heavy and thick, but very tasty. I got the fish tacos. Very heavy on the fresh salsa, lot of red onion, but the fish was fried perfectly. My husband got the stuffed grouper. The flavor was on point however the grouper under the crab was under cooked. We aren’t the type to complain and send food back, so we didn’t say anything. If it wasn’t for that we’d of given 5stars. But we will be going back ro give it another try.

Junior’s was a wonderful surprise! We stopped for lunch before going down the road to the distillery. The service was wonderful! The fish was fresh and the portions were perfect. The salad was so nice, not just wet iceberg lettuce and shredded carrots, but spring mix with sliced tomatoes and onions. There were like a dozen fish specials to choose from, all about $20, which was very reasonable for what you get! My husband got the white fish with lump crab special and I got the Old Bay salmon with fried zucchini special. We will definitely go back!

Amazing cooking! Unique flavors! We were so lucky to find this small homestyle restaurant off the main path. I might say this is the best crab cakes and clam cakes I’ve ever had! Such pleasant staff also!

We have been here many times and always enjoyed it. However today our food was not good. The she crab soup was delicious and fresh oysters were great, but that’s where it ends. I got linguine with crab meat in a white sauce and it was awful. I tried eating just the crabmeat and couldn’t get through that. It tasted like nothing. My husband got grouper, but it looked and tasted like tilapia. It was mushy, and not at all good. So disappointed. Time to find a new place to eat.

We stopped for lunch on a Wednesday after reading all the great reviews. While the crab cake on my sandwich was good the roll was mostly stale, the fries where only halfway cooked and the coleslaw had seen better days. My companion had the fried groper sandwhich and only ate the fish which she said was good but her roll and all else suffered from the same problems listed above. Service was good, but we found no value for the money. Will not be returning and really can’t recommend.

An acquaintance of ours recommended Junior’s. We decided to stop there to see what they had on our way to the beach one morning. It’s an interesting sort of place, with a counter to purchase fresh fish and seafood in one area and table seating for restaurant dining in another area. We were greeted by the owner, who was a very friendly and helpful person. While restaurant service is offered only for dinner, there was a variety of freshly made salads and other items for purchase at the seafood counter. The owner was very enthusiastic in telling us about what he had, including shrimp salad, tuna salad, and potato salad. He explained how each was made with high-quality ingredients, and contained no junk or fillers. He let us taste samples of each of the items, and sure enough they were all great. We purchased some of all three. It made for a very tasty lunch at the beach. Highly recommend.
This is an addition to my lunch review as I can’t seem to add a separate review for dinner…
While buying things for lunch at Junior’s, we noticed the dinner menu. We were looking at it and the owner told us that he had an aspiring young chef in the kitchen, who had worked in a highly regarded restaurant in Cape May. We decided to stop for dinner the following evening. The restaurant had quaint indoor and outdoor seating. We decided to sit indoors as it seemed the outdoor seating had a little bit of road noise from Route 47. We were again greeted by the owner, who recognized us from the previous day and gave us a warm welcome. We chose our own table, and had a very helpful wait staff in attendance. They were well-informed and careful in their service.
Being near the shore, the menu is based primarily on fresh local fish and seafood, although there were one or two meat items available. One side of the menu had traditional selections while the other side had what was identified as chef inspired creations. We chose from this side of the menu. I had pan seared Cape May scallops with risotto and broccolini and my friend had pan seared salmon over polenta with asparagus and a red wine reduction. The presentation was excellent and everything was cooked to perfection. Our only suggestion for improvement goes to the balance of flavors. Both dishes were salty, and the red wine reduction was a bit sweet as a compliment to the fish. The owner was kind enough to ask what we thought. I gave him our opinions but in a positive manner. I told him I can see great promise in his young chef, but added that he should trust the flavors of the quality ingredients being used, to let them shine. The degree of additional spicing and flavoring in our dishes detracted a bit from our ultimate enjoyment of the dinner. I will repeat this was intended as a positive suggestion; the meal was otherwise quite surprisingly good. We look forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu, watching this young talent develop.
I wish I could give Junior’s 4-1/2 stars. I’d place 5 for the lunch and 4 for the dinner. I have a good feeling the dinner rating will go up.

We stopped in to try Juniors Seafood for the first time. We liked the atmosphere, a crab shack like dining room. Clean , well lighted and roomy. Settled on a scallop and shrimp combo fries and cole slaw. The fries were the best part of the dish. 4 shrimp andd 4 scallops , they were small , dry and chewy asked for them fried well, Im not sure if the were fried . No breading ,and they didnt seem to be broiled. Confusing. Very expensive too. Im not going back , just a shot in the dark too stop in , but it was a ‘ DUD’. Just being honest, the staff was very friendly though…
