We have eaten twice at this little strip mall restaurant since it changed ownership over a year ago. The food is delicious. My wife’s enchiladas were a great size with not a trace of grease or oil. My tacos were the same, delicious and no grease on the plate. We judge Mexican restaurants by their salsas and their rice. Both are homemade and excellent here, especially the rice. The service is fast and courteous. Everything is clean and well kept. You can have whatever they have on the menu however you like it. Lunch specials for two with drinks: $21. It’s our new favorite place.

Just had the yummy red chicken enchiladas from El Portal de Veracruz! So many options and I’m glad I went with this plate. Came with rice and beans and an horchata for $9.99. I was very happy with my meal, can’t wait to go back again soon!

Way tooo Spicy Red Enchiladas. couldn’t enjoy. Also they forget to pack ur Coke, fork/spoon and Napkins with your to go order. Will never order from this place ever again. Oh, and they drizzle Sour cream on ur Enchiladas. Like really? Set it aside. Crema on Enchiladas is gross.

Came here for dinner and the food was excellent. Good service and friendly staff. Had the Molcajete and Barbacoa tacos, the taste was amazing. Definitely will be returning with the family.

Asada taco and the carnitas taco was okay. The beans weren’t flavorful and a bit watery. I did not like the fish tacos no flavor. 20 bucks not worth it in my opinion.
