Good regular food. Priced accordingly. Chips were perfect. Burger fresh and tasty. Got a tiny bowl of Cole slaw which is the size of a small butter dish see pic, for 1.99? Was good overall. Would visit again….And free refills

A delightful little restaurant! As the sign says, they serve comfort food. Although they had signs up for barbecue, we all ended up getting breakfast. And it was delicious! I got a vegetable skillet with eggs and sausage gravy. They have about a billion choices of bread, including sourdough and cinnamon raisin or biscuits. My son got the kids pancakes with bacon. They had the brilliant idea to laminate the kids menu, so not only does it reduce waste and save trees, the kids can erase it all and do it over again. There is a handicap accessible entrance ramp, but you will have to go down a few doors in the strip mall to use it. Plenty of free parking too. The service was friendly and they checked on us often. It took awhile to get our food, but we came in with the church crowd on Sunday and it was very busy. Not at all bad for a Sunday at 1pm. This place is obviously a top choice for the locals.

Waitresses acted so rushed, made us feel as if we were bothering them; 1 of 3 orders was wrong, & not fixed quickly. Very busy, few seats available, they complained to us about their work. Customers looked like their Regulars, & when tables cleared they were not wiped down between next Patrons.

My wife and I love Poppa’s Place for breakfast. We have not tried their lunch/dinner menu, but the breakfast is great. I get the biscuits and gravy with egg on top and side of bacon and everything is cooked perfectly how I like it. My wife gets an omelet that she likes with hash browns and toast. It is a fantastic value as we get all of this for under $20. I highly recommend Poppa’s Place! We will be back soon to try lunch and dinner.

Very good dinner I had the Grand Papa Burger and my wife had the Cod dinner.
Little Callie had the chocolate pancakes A good amount of food and the staff are very friendly.
New owner and he updated some of the seating and the outside.
Someone mentioned the small amount cole slaw however they must’ve fixed it because it’s still in the small dish but it’s 3 inches tall definitely enough for us to eat.
Not many restaurants in town this still fits the bill.

Amazing food but ungodly slow.. like seriously 3 hrs for breakfast.
The biggest problem was they had a brand new server with no experience there on the busiest day of the week. They really set the poor girl up for failure having her work so many tables by herself on her second day with no experience and hardly any help. They only came to help her after we had been there over an hour and a half still waiting for food. Then the poor girl isn’t familiar with the menu yet so she got some of it confused.
But this isn’t the first time I’ve been in here and it’s been ungodly slow either so.

Went in for lunch, hoping for a good quick lunch. Big mistake! I was limited with time, and ordered a salad. I was very surprised service was slow considering it was 11:15 am, and not busy. Salad was also poorly made, and the lettuce iceberg and wilted. I will not be returning!
