The BBQ lunch at BBQ1 in Jasper was great. Delicious pulled pork, potato salad right on spot with consistency and flavors, and fried okra was crunchy and not overly breaded. The BBQ sauce was very well balanced. Service was very accommodating and friendly. Next time I will look at the brisket and banana pudding. My score a 4.8.

Thurs/12-04. We stopped by BBQ1 for lunch. Plenty of parking; Casual; Clean; Family friendly. We were greeted immediately, seated and drink orders taken. Both ordered pulled pork plates with 2 sides each. Our sides were fries, slaw, onion rings and baked beans. Pulled pork was almost good without sauce and portions were enough to take home for another sandwich each! My fries were fresh, hot and not over cooked. The slaw had too much mayo, which made it too “soupy”. My husband’s onion rings were fried perfect. Baked beans were good too. Manager and staff were friendly. Service was great. Prices are very reasonable and there are daily specials making it even more affordable to eat here. Our plates were on the Thursday BOGO daily special.
If we had known it was the same owner as the restaurant in Marietta, we would have ordered brisket. We like to supporting Local Owned restaurants and hope you will too.

My family and I loved the food! The sides are phenomenal – we got Mac and cheese, green beans, potato salad, baked beans, sweet potato’s, onion rings, and collard greens! We got “small plates” and it was more than enough food. The brisket and smoked turkey are good too. Would definitely come here again when we are in the area!

Stopped here today for lunch while we were visiting Ball Ground. Very clean and inviting restaurant. Big plus! My husband had the brisket sandwich with fried okra and I had the BBQ pork sandwich with fried okra. They were both DELICIOUS! Meat was tender and smoked to perfection. Okra was so good, too! Great service, as well! We hope to visit, again!

Our first time here since Davis Roundtable ran it. The only thing left from original owners are the table and chairs. It’s been completely remodeled.
I had the 1/2 lb pork plate with okra, baked beans and Texas toast. It was all good. I didn’t have to use BBQ sauce to flavor the meat. It had some smoke and bark.
My wife had the small BBQ pork plate with Mac-n-cheese. She enjoyed hers as well.
The servers are young and did pretty well. My only suggestion is to keep the servers assigned to a certain area. Ours was working both sides of the restaurant. Taking away from his attentiveness. He did good considering.
The bathrooms were clean and a one horse stall. We will be back for sure.

They dont coat meats with sauce, they bring it on the side. Honestly it doesn’t need sauce, meats are very flavorful!! I got the 3 meat plate (chicken, brisket and sausage)and added 1/4 slab ribs for $4… collard greens, Mac n cheese, beans, cole slaw… the food is AMAZING!!!!
The service is great as well, very attentive, nice and fast!

Stopped in for lunch this week. Sherri waited on us. She was very friendly and answered all of our questions concerning the menu. When the food came, it was excellent. Brisket, smoked sausage, and smoked turkey were all tasty. The sides were excellent also. A great place to stop for barbecue.

This is exactly what you want from a BBQ place. A little rustic, GREAT food and very reasonable prices. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my boyfriend had the rib special. The waitress was so nice and offered us samples of the sides we didn’t order.
High recommend the redneck lasagna! The sweet tea with lemon was perfect.

Clean, and large dining area. Ordered the small pork plate, and it was enough to split with my eight year-old & take some home. The chicken tenders my other kid got were fabulous. Not your average restaurant frozen warehouse-bought. The batter on it was flavorful and definitely tasted in-house made. Pork was tasty. Fried okra was large & battered/fried well. Prices were reasonable. Service was quick but food fresh.

I love coming here to get lunch on Thursdays when they have their buy one get one free plates! Their food is SO delish and don’t even get me started on the macaroni and cheese! Staff is always so sweet and friendly when I come in and they always make sure I have everything I need. If you want great food, great service, and southern hospitality .. go to BBQ1!! Love this place. Cant say enough good things about them.
