This place has an atmosphere that does what so many breweries try to do, but they do it so much better. They combined the decor from old manufacturing with what makes me think of a witches lair. Spacious yet cozy, with lots of character. I tried the deviled eggs that everyone raves about and I can see why, it makes me wish that I had thought to use marinated eggs sooner! The burger was pretty decent too. and even though I didnt get a chance to try a flight of beer at the time, they have great mocktails.

I really wanted to like this place and maybe had too high of expectations based on what I had seen online and social media. We arrived a little after 6:30p in a Friday evening in September. We were greeted by a hostess and seated immediately in the bar area. We didn’t see a server for about 10 or more minutes although the handful of tables around us were being taken care of by serving staff. We grabbed a drink me from the bar and considered moving over there but there weren’t two seats together. When the server came over, she was very apologetic and I got the impression that we weren’t even in her section but she saw us waiting and decided to assist. God love her for that. We ordered drinks. They took a little longer than expected based on our view of the bar staff.

We ordered shrimp tacos, brussel sprouts and a pepperoni pinza. It was 7:46p when our food was delivered. I would say the food was average.

Our server was friendly,Ike I said, I don’t think we were actually in her section, and she was apologetic. She was hustling for sure.

I think it would have been helpful if the hostess would have set the expectation for us when we were seated that the service would be slow. I am not sure if they were short staffed or just really busy or both.

Parking was easy. It was a big lot next to the entrance and there were plenty of spaces. Prices were comparable to other places we have been. The atmosphere was cool – a little spooky fun vibe too it. It might be a nice place to go just for drinks but I likely will not come here again for food.

Last week we gave Titan Hollow a try for our Valentine’s Date Night. The live music by Honey Pie was outstanding, perfect for the venue and the occasion! The service was prompt, friendly and attentive! I was impressed with the drink selections, we had Mules, mine was a mocktail, and both were quality libations! We found the menu choices from Alloy Kitchen plentiful and interesting the Fried Pretzel appetizer was served piping hot, perfect for a cold night! The preparation gave it extra flavor and it was served with tasty dips! Hubby started with the Chili Deviled Eggs which raved about. His Fish and Chips entree was equally pleasing, with a large portion of Haddock. I chose the Sun Dried Tomato Mac n Cheese and it was fantastic! Plenty of creamy cheesiness, with some crispiness on top, and a nice depth of flavor from the tomatoes. Large serving; I had another whole dinner from the leftovers. Cool vibe, cool place! Can’t wait to go back!

We tried the shiitake schnitzel and the fish and chips. Both were delicious and a decent portion for the price. Our server was attentive. We enjoyed walking around the interior and looking at the Halloween-esque decorations. The outside was spacious and not too buggy. Only issue was that the gazebo had an established wasp nest but we just moved to a different table with no issue. We will be back!

This is easily one of the best and unique restaurants in the area! The atmosphere alone sets it apart from everything else. The staff is exceedingly welcoming and friendly. We have loved everything we have eaten off their menu (which is just about everything). The cider is excellent, but they have Axeman beer and cocktails as well! They also host fun events like: bands, dinner murder mystery shows and even drag brunches. They have the ability to host fairly large wedding receptions as well.

If you are looking for a fun new restaurant, look no further!

We met some friends here for drinks and dinner on a Friday evening. Got there just as it opened, so got our pick of seats. My wife and I each got a flight of 4 ciders. Since they have 8 to offer, and we shared them, we had one of each. Five were good; 2 were great; 1 was awful. (Ginger: Yuck!!)

By the time we got to ordering dinner, the sun had dropped and our seats were hot and sunny. The staff graciously moved us to a better spot. Very good customer service!!

I had the Reuben sandwich, which was very good. I liked it a lot. All of our appetizers were good and some were quite unique. Reuben egg rolls, French Onion Soup Dumplings. All very good.

We will definitely be back!! Cool vibe inside, great staff, very good food, etc.

We have been multiple times and the food and drinks are always amazing. Every time we visit my son we come for dinner. The service is always amazing and food is great. Last night we came for my son’s graduation dinner with our whole family not knowing they had a different menu on Sundays and they were extremely accommodating and offered us the regular menu items. Mary, Ann, and the rest of the staff took great care of us all last night and made our night! One of the best restaurants around Penn State!
