I visited this place with my family, and it turned out to be one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. The samosa chaat was just okay, but the chilli chicken was absolutely terrible. It had a foul smell and an odd taste, which made it inedible. I took just one bite and had to leave the rest untouched. They did not have a child seat available, and the lady at the front desk was not particularly welcoming or friendly.

Great meal. Try the garlic naan with the butter chicken for a real treat. I got the sheesh kebab and that was a great decision. They serve large portions so be hungry. They have a warm and friendly staff. The ambiance is very much what this generation brings to the table. Great music playing in the background and enjoy the company you bring. This is what I want more restaurants to be like. Great job Guru’s Indian Kitchen. I look forward to seeing your continued success.

We had a very good meal. Can’t say about authenticity (I’m not Indian), but we liked the food a lot.
Staff was very attentive.

I got the Buttered Chicken (asked them to add Vegatables to it) – it was very good. Large portion – enough for 2 people or to have leftovers. Nice casual atmosphere – they ha e a full bar as well.

My 6year old says “more people should come and enjoy this place! It’s super yummy” and I agree! We had the butter chicken, pain and garlic naan and everything tasted amazing! We will be back soon!

All was good. I prefer the flavors at the mother ship Guru Palace better than Guru Kitchen. This is not a complaint. Most people prefer Guru Kitchen over Guru Palace. Give it a try.

Biryani was really good. My experience at other places with biryani has not been worth mentioning. For this place I would highly recommend the biryani giving it a try. Not unnecessarily spicy but flavorful.Malai Tikka was good. Hope this place maintains this taste for a long enough time, unlike other Indian restaurants where taste is negative exponential with time. I will come back to Guru’s kitchen.

This was my partner’s and my first time at Guru’s Indian Kitchen and let me just say, we’ll definitely be back! From the warm service to the mouthwatering food, everything was absolutely top-notch.

I ordered the Chicken 65, which was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. It’s a safe pick if you’re trying something new, but it still packs a punch. The dipping sauces were spot-on, and even the few leftovers I brought home were a hit with the kids!

My partner went for the Sizzlers –Tandoori Wings, and that dish was a showstopper. The sizzling presentation alone makes you excited, and the wings were incredibly juicy. They came on a bed of perfectly cooked veggies that I could honestly eat every day. I added some rice and had enough for another meal ,so satisfying!

One thing I think would make the experience even better is a menu with photos or a QR code for a visual scan menu. I’m not a picky eater, so I know I’d be happy with most dishes, but for guests trying Indian food for the first time or those who love to “eat with their eyes” before ordering it would be such a helpful addition!

And lastly, a big congratulations to the owner on creating such a beautiful restaurant in a growing, vibrant area. It’s easy to forget how much heart, risk, and dedication go into building something like this just to share a passion with others.

Oh, and fun fact—his family is in the restaurant business too! His parents have a spot off Baseline and Gilbert, and his brother runs one in Tempe. Clearly, great food runs in the family!
