We weren’t expecting much for a hotel restaurant but were pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. The menu is definitely not “Italian” but the food items we ordered all had great flavor. We split some crostini- the crostini came out warm like it had just been toasted which was a nice touch. My sister had a chicken past dish she enjoyed and I got the steak bites. I will say as someone from the Midwest- this is not a steak bite, more like a pre-cut sirloin, but the chimichurri was excellent and the asparagus and mash were also delicious. The asparagus even had an almost wood fired flavor to them.
We also split a bottle of their Prosecco which was also very good.

This place has a great atmosphere, especially with the beautifully lit Christmas tree as you walk in. The service was great… friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were Delicious!! I’ll definitely be back.

The steak was cooked to perfection with incredible flavor, and the shrimp Alfredo was creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. What really made the experience stand out was our server Terrell who went above and beyond with his attentive, friendly, and professional service. Great food and amazing service all around, I will definitely be coming back.

Nice atmosphere overall, but the bar area was an absolute ghost town. Sat there for a good 5 minutes at about 5:15p midweek before the bartender showed up. Drinks seem to be on the pricier side. The menu looks good, but I only had drinks at the bar.

Like other reviews, the service was sub par. For example, we had reservations and it took nearly 10 min for a host to even speak to us. Mind you, it was not busy. But the worst part was the food poisoning. About an hour after dinner my stomach began hurting significantly. Within a few more hours I was vomiting repeatedly.

There was so much oil on the food it was ready for the stage at a body building competition. The bacon arrived cold and the coffee is cheap and tastes like it.
It seems that the servers have not undergone any sort of training. Then, adding insult to injury, the restaurant adds an automatic 15% gratuity.
Do not spend your money here unless you’re looking for disappointment and regret.

I really wish i could rate this place higher. The waitress was super nice and the place was really clean. However the food was pretty awful. And expensive. Like have you ever purchased some food and just had immediate regrets? Yeah. That was everything we had at this place. I wish I just found a mcdonalds. It would have been cheaper and tasted better. But I digress.
Firstly, this place is supposed to be an Italian place but they only had one pasta dish on their menu. They supposedly also sell three types of pizza, but thats not on the menu. We ordered the polenta appetizer, the chicken pasta, and a burger. Oh! We also had a cocktail. The burger and chicken pasta was mid at best. The polenta appetizer was so salty, it was inedible. And these few things cost almost $90.
See. Regrets.
Just order doordash, go to mcdonalds. Anything else until they put more efforts towards food tastes.

Stayed at Porter for work. This is a cool bar, but small. Full menu served from here. Wish TVs had sound. Bartenders were grear, but spent a little too much time talking amongnst themselves which sloed down service, but they saved it toward the edd.

I’ve worked in the service industry myself for 6 years and I’ve seen packed restaurants, lack of employees, etc. I completely understand if servers are doing their best and just can’t keep up with how busy it is. But this place is beyond all excuses, because I felt like our server was giving us a bad service on purpose. We came in and ordered breakfast, no utensils or beverages were brought to us. I had to ask about our coffee because it didn’t arrive after 10 min of sitting there. Then our food was finally brought up and no utensils with it. I asked the server about silverware and he said it will be “just a minute”. Then he just went on about his business without even making an attempt to hurry and get us a fork so we could eat. After a while the silverware finally arrived and the food was below average. No salt added, no ketchup or hot sauce offered, just plain and bland.
Management really needs to do something about this restaurant.
