Heard about their big, inexpensive combo offerings, so we gave it a try. It was the $6.59 sandwich and side combo. This was the Italian and although they did advertise it to be 4″, it seemed a lot smaller. I think a 4″ sub would work out with a little wider loaf to start with, this is just a little wider than an Olive Garden breadstick. Giving 2 stars because the mac n cheese side was pretty good but I wouldn’t order it again as a flavored mac n cheese, as they just pour some flavoring on top, i.e Chipotle or garlic aioli sauces.

So, my experience at 2am. Ok.. so I haven’t been in awhile to the store because of the poor service in the food area. I tried tonight again another bad food experience. I only ordered Rice and A buttered which is normally toasted shortie roll and a small vanilla matcha. Simple.. Right? Would think so. I only ordered this simply cause when I order more food the workers don’t seem to pay attention to all the details of the order!! For instance, order “suppose” to be ready at 2:50 am easy easy order not busy. Rice on the counter getting cold while I’m still waiting on a Butter toasted Shorti Roll!! Why am I waiting on a piece of dang bread. Meanwhile they at the counter just chatting it up I’m waiting… get back home rice still “fairly warm” opened my roll.. just a sandwich loaf with butter smeared on it.. Not toasted!! Probably won’t be back soon the experience is just too bad and it makes the food taste bad once everything is completed which is never all at once by the pick up time. Honestly I couldn’t be a manager there.. I’m a hands own person.. I would be back there helping check-in making sure everything is together and slanging orders out.. cause why are you running your mouth messing up a rice and toasted shorti roll order? Overnight is pretty laid back no excuses for not paying attention to details of orders. Please do better. The store just opened and quality help in the food service industry seems to be hard to find. Food is too expensive to mess up orders these days and have unsatisfied customers it’s upsetting at this point. I’m giving you my money for quality products. Not this nasty mess.

I personally love some Wawa because we have them back at home. This was my first time going to this location and I ordered a turkey veggie club sandwich. It was delicious and ordered to my liking. Although it took a little time for my order to be called, I was satisfied!

Food is good and reasonably priced. They have dairy free beverage options. Even at the coffee station they have Dairy free creamer and milk options. Their bakery items is individually wrapped for safety. They have self check out options. The wait is a little long because it’s new but not a big deal.
I remember WAWA’S when it was just a store back in the 90’s. I’m glad to see how much it’s grown.
I moved to Savannah some years ago and noticed they have the same 5 boring stores in every neighborhood and when I saw them building a Wawa in Pooler I was beyond excited!!
Please put a Wawa in more communities.

I’m from eastern PA but live in Georgia now… Wawa used to be a staple for me. Stopped here for gas and food on the way home just because it’s Wawa & because I’m pregnant and had to pee. The bathrooms were “closed for maintenance” with no follow up or explanation. How can you just close the restrooms and not have any sense of urgency to open them back up? If this was the northeast someone would have been actively working on them as soon as an issue arose. So unacceptable.

I have been looking forward to going to WAWA since I heard it was going to be built. We are from the north and have been in many of WAWA including the first one. I have to ask who designed this one?
This is the worst WAWA design I have seen.
The Coffee station is right behind where you order and pick up your food. Along with the specifically drink pick up. Can you say congestion?
We were happy to see you brought down some Herr’s chips. Who forgot the tasty cakes?
We will still visit to get our Hoagie and Herr’s fix. However, you truly missed the design mark.

We finally gotta Wawa! It’s just as amazing as any other Wawa’s. The employees are very nice and are efficient especially with ordering food. Plenty of parking. Their food is delicious. I’d recommend anyone who loves gas stations to come here!
