Service was ok. Lot of space for a special event or gathering.
Very spacious seating and customer service from Vivian. She was attentive and very professional to your needs. Her attitude was amazing with a smile that makes the restaurant more appealing.
Our seafood came out first, and we were already a good portion of the way through it before our rice arrived. We had to remind them several times. The basket wings were not the quality we were hoping for. To be honest, it felt like they might as well have been frozen prior. The fries were also disappointing.
What made it worse was that a little girl in our group was waiting for her noodles, and it didn’t arrive until everyone else was basically done eating. I don’t think she even liked it.
There were also issues with the oysters. We ordered two dozen but were only given one dozen at first. The second dozen came later because it seems they originally didn’t input it. The oysters themselves didn’t taste very fresh. I’ve definitely had better for a lower price.
This is just my point of view. My mom did say she liked the seasoning and thought the sauce was good and not too salty. But overall, the service was really disappointing.
They accidentally brought out calamari that I didn’t order, but they looked so swamped that I decided to just eat it and paid for it without complaining.
We ordered the spicy level, but it was so intense that it was hard to enjoy. Still, the shrimp was plump and flavorful. Next time, I’ll definitely go for a milder spice level.
The food is consistently delicious. We couldn’t get enough of the 1 lb head-on shrimp – so flavorful and perfectly cooked – and the lobster tail was succulent and amazing. But here’s a tip: even if you’re not the biggest seafood fan, you have to try their juicy chicken wings. Honestly, they are better than wings I’ve had at dedicated wing restaurants!
And the drinks! There’s one specific drink (I wish I could describe it better, but definitely show the waiter the picture if you have it!) that is truly one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Just show them the photo and prepare to be impressed!
Considering the incredible quality of the food, the fun atmosphere, and the overall experience, the prices are very reasonable. We wholeheartedly recommend Hot N Juicy and will definitely be making it a regular stop whenever we visit!
I ordered one of the combos with crawfish, but it really didn’t feel worth it. There’s very little edible meat, and the flavor was quite bland. It would’ve been a much better deal to just order shrimp, potatoes, and corn separately.
Also, I noticed that none of the shrimp were deveined, which was a bit disappointing. The only thing I actually enjoyed was the sauce itself — it was rich and flavorful. Unfortunately, the seafood seemed to be just boiled in plain water before mixing, so it didn’t absorb much of that great sauce.
If that’s the case, I might as well just take a few potatoes to go next time and make my own seafood boil at home — it’d probably taste better and be more worth the money.
The waiter messed up our entire order. When I ordered the noodles, I even pointed at the picture and asked if it was $10, and he said yes. But when the bill came, there was an extra $11 added for shrimp that he claimed I ordered, which I didn’t.
Even though we were frustrated, we still paid the full bill and left a $9 tip. Then he ran after us saying we didn’t pay enough… which was shocking and really uncomfortable.
This experience completely ruined our visit. Very disappointing service, and sadly I won’t be coming back.
We ordered the boil bag with shrimp and added a corn and potatoe.
The shrimp tasted liked it was left overs from the day before. It was rubbery like if you warmed it up in the microwave. To top that off it was NOT devained. By the time I devained it my poor rubbery shrimp was mutilated. By the time I did all my shrimp my food was not hot any more so I was very frustrated
The corn was also left over from the day before. The potato was very good.
There were 3 of us and it wasn’t worth the money.
