A really fun, bar seating only sushi spot. All the rolls we had were fantastic with really great flavors. The Angel Hair Roll and Sherack Roll in particular were unique and delicious. The place isn’t huge, so not great for groups, but the quaint atmosphere, fun sushi-themed decor, and excellent food make it well worth the visit.

The sushi here is fresh, beautifully crafted, and delicious. This cafe is a great find and I’m glad it’s right here in Roslyn. The Chef Specialty rolls are a favorite of mine. (Just need to remember to take pictures).

This place has really great sushi- The fish is super fresh. It’s a tad pricier than some other sushi restaurants in the neighborhood but I think that’s acceptable given the quality of fish and that you get way more rolls. That said, it’s definitely a takeout only kind of place, there’s only counter seating for like 7 people. Service was a biiit slow but there was only one chef and I think the owner working to get rolls out. It also felt a bit like there was pressure to get us to tip, which I thought was odd given it’s not exactly a sit down and you order and pay at the counter.

If you live in Rosslyn, or anywhere remotely close by, I cannot overstate how much you need to put in an order at Cafe Sushi Garden as soon as you can! Gigantic portions, fresh cuts of fish, beautiful craftsmanship in every roll, generous prices across the menu — search no further, this place is what you’ve been looking for (you know it’s good when I had my first bite and immediately set a reminder for myself to write a review).
The platter for two was perfect for a movie night in. Don’t sleep on their huge hand rolls either! Plus, the staff are incredibly kind and thoughtful, and there’s plenty of seating inside if you want to kick your feet up with a hot bowl of miso soup. best sushi restaurant ever. i lived in the area for just a few months but this restaurant made such an impact on me that i’m still thinking of it!! sushi is delicious and the service is impeccable. highly recommend the chef’s special – i loved his creations!!

You’re not seeing double. I love the garden roll, and my husband loves the rainbow roll! Forget anything that I have said about any other sushi place on the East Coast. Cafe Sushi Garden not only has the very best rolls that we have ever eaten, but it also offers rice bowls, sandwiches, and pretty much something for everyone. Set back from Wilson Boulevard at the corner with North Pierce, this small, impeccabile, unassuming restaurant is perfect if you and a couple of friends prefer a sushi counter, grab and go, or outside seating. The people who work here are charming, generous, and constitute the other main reason for going back again and again. They contribute to exceed expectations.
Update: The last time we went, our favorite rolls were significantly smaller. Whereas this had become our favorite place for sushi rolls, I am not sure now. We will probably give the restaurant one more chance.

First off, the staff was amazing! The service was very friendly and quick. We asked for recommendations and received excellent picks for both cooked and raw rolls. We ended up ordering the double fantasy (raw) and the special shrimp (cooked) rolls as well as an order of the bibimbop. Miso soup was also included automatically. It was all absolutely delicious. Halfway through our meal they also brought us out a sample of the volcano roll, which tasted just absolutely wonderful with the combination of the two sauces on it. The overall atmosphere is great too. It’s a cozy little shop with a nice calm ambiance.

Honestly best sushi I’ve had in the area. The prices are good as well. This is one of my wife and I’s go-to places in Rosslyn and we feel very lucky to live next door to it. The owners and employees are always very kind as well.

If you are looking for great sushi in Arlington, you need to try Sushi Garden. The miso was full-bodied, the rolls were fresh and well-structured, and the prices were reasonable. I have found my place for great sushi in Rosslyn. The menu is slightly limited (no gyoza or shumai), but what they have is excellent! I wish I had tried them sooner. You have to look for it next to Royal Barber, but it is worth the trip.

I don’t think I’ve ever received the same attention and hospitality anywhere else as I do here! ✨ Walter and Carlos are truly the sweetest and most attentive people, you can tell they genuinely care about every guest. We originally stumbled upon this gem thanks to Google reviews, and wow… they did NOT disappoint!
Every time I come back, they remember my name and make me feel so welcome. The food is always fresh, delicious, and made with care. I also love that the place feels small, cozy, and personal, it makes the whole experience even more special.
