I went to this Subway on Monday February 23, 2026, and it will be the last time. If you look closely at the picture, just to the left of the meatball is a human HAIR! The ladies working not only were careless in leaving behind disgusting hair, but also were openly complaining about other employees not on the clock that day in front of a customer (me). I’m not saying they cannot speak (1st amendment) but in front of a paying customer, openly slandering their own coworkers is a pretty poor image. Not to mention the fact they carelessly made this sandwich with hair wrapped inside of it. I already called the Scott County Health Department. This franchise and it’s owner have let the standards of customer service and healthy food quality disappear into jaded and careless hands.

Haven’t had subway in a long time. Not coming back to this one. Food was not even as good as I remembered. Nitpick to start; the meat was not distributed well across the bread. Now, my actual complaints. Tomatoes were overripe, spinach was wilted. The spinach was at the very bottom of the container. Tbh they should’ve just gotten more spinach out, but the employee was clearly reluctant to be there at all. She asked her coworker no less than three times if he *needs* help, in such a way that she must have hoped he would say no. Also, she curtly said “what’s on it” to ask what toppings I wanted. Customer service is not the strong suit of either employee I saw today. I imagine they dislike their job or were tired and near the end of their shift, but customer service is part of the job. It’s a huge part of the job, actually.
Glad I had a coupon. I got half off and it’s still not worth it.

A few weeks ago, my single mom had ordered a couple sub sandwiches from this location under the name “Deb”. There were two teenage girls at the counter when she arrived; these teens having carelessly let the subs go with some random Uber-foods guy for ~20 minutes without their supervision. My mom walked in to pick up her order of Deb. These teen girls went on to say that my mom’s “husband” picked it up. The Uber driver walks back in 20 minutes later, stating that he didn’t get his order for “Kelsey”. The two teenagers simply said a “sorry” to my mom and the driver, despite having broken several food laws. My mom was left to message the subways’ management and was met with a “sorry for the inconvenience”. The manager didn’t give her a refund, a proper apology, or any reassuring words that things will be worked on after this location broke laws. My mom will not be ordering from this location any time soon, as the behavior displayed to her is both very dangerous and unacceptable.

Completely empty, two employees one on the phone bitching to the manager not present in store. First words “what do you want”. I get it, I worked retail/service jobs for years. No hi no hello. None of the foot long sides “available”. I understand you don’t want to work here but that’s not my fault.

The three workers working the lunch hour today at the Subway on Middle Road and Devils Glen offered some of the best customer service I’ve seen in quite a while. They were polite and fast and clean. The three of them were also working together really well. They took care in preparing our sandwiches, accurately, and quickly. And they were exceptional in the way they dealt with customers. I was very impressed! Will be back!

I’m a frequent flyer at this location. I’ve never ordered online and decided to give it a try. The app was super easy. I went in to pick it up. There were about 7 people in the store. I hear a voice asking if I had a pickup order. I responded with yes and gave my name. As the young gentleman turned around to grab the order the young lady at the register very rudely told him “no” I need you to do “xyz”. She was on a cell phone and seemed to be distressed by something. The gentleman walked out and handed me my order. The young lady behind the register just gave me a glare. The mood seemed very chaotic and the customers looked highly frustrated. If I would’ve ordered in store I would’ve left. To be so rude to your staff members and paying customers is highly uncalled for. The nice gentleman had a look of embarrassment as she barked orders. I understand being frustrated , however you should really be more aware of how you talk/treat people.

I had an amazing experience with a worker named Chelsea! The staff here is always so friendly and helpful, they also are always quick! Pretty soon this Subway will know me by name with how often I come here. You guys are doing great, thank you for always providing excellent service and making amazing sandwiches!

We all know about the awesome food — however, little is said about the actual service. So this is a shout out to the staff that is super friendly and extremely patient with us customers. There are places I avoid because of the staff; never had to avoid a Subway because of poor quality in the staff. Sure, sometimes I’ve had a problem with an order, but it was usually my not being clear as opposed to the staff not listening.
