Surprised this place wasn’t busier because we had a wonderful time! Cocktails were excellent — especially the You Only Live Twice, a must if you like gin or vodka. For apps we tried the Snapper Ceviche and the Smoked Trout Croquettes. The ceviche was fresh and bright, but the croquettes stole the show — don’t miss them!
We both had the Salmon Curry with green chili, rice, garbanzo, and green papaya slaw. Absolutely delicious and beautifully plated.
Service was great, and sitting outside on a beautiful night made it even better. Parking was easy in the Edge Apartments garage.
We’ll definitely be back! Oh they get extra points for having Uncle Nearest!

Let me preface by saying we are restaurant industry people, so we really try to be an understanding as possible.
Food was great, once it arrived. Reservations were for 12:15, got our drinks around 1:00 and food not for until almost 2:00. First round of drinks taking 45 minutes was just a bit shocking given the fact that the restaurant was not busy & we ordered a bottle of wine, a beer, and one cocktail.
Food was really great once it arrived. We ordered the oysters and deviled eggs- the oysters came out within 30 minutes. The eggs got lost along the way but eventually they came out. Entrees took a while and when they came out some things were missing like sides etc. Food was really good! However the server, who was very polite and nice, didn’t check in after we had the food for a few bites etc, so we didn’t get a chance to address the missing items until the manager checked in.
By the time we were paying (our bill came to a little over $1,000 for 7 adults 1 kid), the server said the side my mom was missing was coming out despite my mom saying it wasn’t needed anymore. The server had mentioned “well they already made it” and I just wanted to point out well we’ve already eaten and are ready to go? Should’ve been made when it was supposed to, not really wanted after everything is said and done.
The jazz band playing was really great!
Overall, coming from a server who currently and has always worked in busy places- I know brunch can suck to work. But when the restaurant isn’t packed, and sections are 3 or 4 tables, the service should be way more on top of it. Checking in, just letting us know that the food is taking a while or drinks at the bar, makes a huge difference in making your table feel remembered and important.
The food was delicious, just some tweaking on service to be done and this place is great.

My dad doesn’t visit very often. I took him here because it was close and looked nice from far away. First of all, what self respecting cook makes a ceasar salad with KALE?? Poor atmosphere, the seats are too close to other diners and there is no room for big parties so everything has to happen in the cramped dining room. Bad experience. Too much salt. Loved our waitress but the owner wouldn’t even talk to us about our dinner, and I did see him talking to the table next to ours.

This place is a Vibe!!! It is the a best meal we’ve enjoyed since our visits to the ATL. (Let me tell you I like to enjoy good food and service). We wanted a fine dining experience & they did not disappoint. I give them a Gold Star, 5 out of 5.
We were told about this location. It’s in a hidden spot (to someone not native to ATL).
We were greeted with wholehearted Southern Hospitality as we entered the location. Our bartender was a beautiful young lady named Nasia. Her beauty shined even brighter through her pleasant personality. Her service was perfect. We wasn’t certain what to get and went along with her recommendations. My Husband enjoyed a Golden Ticket Cocktail. He said it was good! He appreciated she was generous with the alcohol.
I will say all of the food was bursting with flavor!!! It was really good.
We had the Smoked Turkey Wing as an Appetizer. The Hot Bourbon flavor has the perfect kick to it.
Our entrees were equally pleasing! I enjoyed the Salmon Curry with Fried Rice & Slaw. I am not a Green Curry flavor type of lady because I don’t like any taste of Ginger. However I enjoyed the slight hint of Curry taste. You get to pour how much you want on your dish. The Salmon was perfect!!! I even ate the back skin which had a great crisp to it. Honestly it was delicious without the sauce.
My husband enjoyed the Pork Belly & Potstickers drizzled with Ramen Broth and Shaved Brussels Sprouts. He gave his meal a solid 10!!!
The ambiance is very elegant. They have beautiful outdoor seating area as well. I would easily do a gathering at this location. No extra decor needed for the celebration.
An additional bonus, the General Manager Mr. Nash come over and introduce hisself. He was very personable and grateful we choose to dine with them.
Prices are right & service is how everyone should operate. I highly recommend visiting this establishment. You get your monies worth.

We decided to come here last minute. The restaurant was not too busy. Nash greeted us and brought us water while we waited for the waitress. The service was very slow. We ordered a drink and appetizers. The drink came fairly quickly but it was hard to get our water refilled. We ordered the turkey wings and a sushi roll. The turkey wings were great! The sushi was more rice than anything would not recommend. Once we put in our entree order it took about 40 mins for them to come outs the waitress never came back to check on us. Eventually Nash came back to check and refill our drinks. I would not recommend coming here if you are starving.

Went here for Date night with friends, first time visiting. The atmosphere was nice, extremely clean, warm, and intimate. Drinks were on point
Lamb dish was not good, would not recommend, over cooked and tiny portion that did not match price. General Manager Nash made it right and gave us another dish. He was accommodating and invested in making sure we had an amazing experience. Prepare yourself for small portions, but if you’re hungry, please try the Fried Lobster dish. It is delicious and filling. Does it say come back, YES.

We visited this black owned establishment on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. I made a reservation online same evening prior to with no issue. They have a One Flew South location at the Atlanta airport also which has great food. It was very difficult to find this place and we ended up having to park at a parking lot that was a little walk from the place. There is some side street parking, but it is probably going to be taken. I had to call the restaurant and ask them where they were located and was informed they are directly next door to Shake Shack. I just so happened to look to my right and I saw the place down under the street directly on the Beltline. We had to go down into the Beltline area via a ramp to get to the place. Upon arrival it was clean, modern, and had a new age restaurant/bar feel. The receptionist was nice and validated our reservation which allowed us to be seated right away. We chose to sit indoors, but there were a good amount of people sitting outdoors. They have a nice patio area with a roof covering, huge umbrellas, and patio lights. We felt it was too hot to sit outdoors. Our waitress Alyssa was nice and professional and assisted us with the menu. This menu is different from the menu in the airport, but they still have sushi options like the other location. We ordered the following items: the deviled egg experience with bacon jam, duck flatbread, grilled short ribs, forbidden rice pudding, and grow a pear cocktail. The grow a pear cocktail was refreshingly sweet and had a nice presentation in the oversized martini glass. It definitely reminded me of a lemon drop just with a pear essence instead. The deviled egg experience wasn’t what we were expecting. All of the ingredients are separate and you have to make the deviled eggs yourself. These were delicious once we assembled them with rich egg chives filling and the savory jerky like bacon jam to complement. The plate also included radish, black salt, and crumble topping. The duck flatbread was enough to share if you aren’t that hungry. Otherwise it’s a great portion size for a hungry person. The pizza was savory, seasoned well, and had great toppings including succulent duck! The grilled short ribs had a tough texture and were difficult to eat. Also they had a lot of bone, but they really weren’t tender at all. Short ribs are supposed to be fall off the bone good. I definitely would not recommend these at all. It’s unfortunate because my boyfriend was torn between getting the short ribs and the chicken katsu. The chicken katsu probably would’ve been a better option to be honest. The coconut fried rice the short ribs came with was seasoned well and fried crisply to perfection into cubes. The forbidden rice pudding was not good at all. We initially wanted the midnight eclipse which is a cake. They didn’t have it which I don’t understand because this was a Tuesday evening and it wasn’t jam packed. The rice pudding had a looser consistency than I’m used to with rice pudding. Also it tasted like it had a chocolatey flavor which doesn’t really work well for me with rice pudding. We didn’t even finish it because we disliked it that much. I wouldn’t recommend it. We probably should’ve just skipped dessert to be honest. I did use the restroom here and I was able to use it with no issues since it was nice and clean. The business also has a 100 health score which is excellent. I know it’s a new business so that’s probably why their score is so high so hopefully they will be able to maintain that in the A range. Overall I felt the experience was just ok. I didn’t feel this restaurant was anything to write home and the food and drinks are quite pricy. In my opinion I think like many restaurants they want to cater to their white clientele so some items just aren’t as good as they could be from a texture standpoint especially, but priced at a high threshold. I don’t not recommend this place, but I won’t be returning. I would however advise that patrons try the location in the airport because they have some great food options such as the open face meatloaf sandwich.

This was an unexpected surprise of deliciousness. Met for Birthday Brunch and we both were pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was: Shrimp N’ Grits Croquettes was great and the tomato remoulade pair exceptionally well, the OFS Chicken Biscuit was really good the collard kimchi was amazing – don’t get the sweet potato hash not good, also shared the Hot Drunken Chicken & Mochi Waffle also surprisingly good the plum chutney makes it all yummy together(had to request egg fried hard it comes runny). To top the food off had a divinely delicious Elderflower mint Mimosa.

Visited this establishment for dinner today and was pleased with the ambience, menu, and service we received. Although we walked in without a reservation, We were prompted greeted and seated by the hostess. Our server, Lala was nice and had an extensive knowledge of the menu. She did let us know that although the scallop sushi was in the menu, it was not available for purchase. Which I thought was odd, because she said it was a popular item and they had another scallop dish. I got the ribs and coconut rice. It was a nice portion, so I took some home. My friends got sushi and they said it was good and fresh. The deviled eggs were delicious. We will be back to try more menu items.

Foodie Friday at @oneflewsouthatl was lit on the belt line. The restaurant was beautiful inside, the staff were attentive, and the food was good. We also loved that they have a live band or dj every Friday night, so we will be back to enjoy good and some music when it warms up.
Here is what we had:
Fye Chicken Sandwich ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Jalapeno cheese spread, fye honey, hot curry mustard, avocado, kimchi, cured cucumbers, side of fries.
This sandwich was delicious. You could tell someone thought out the flavors well, the contrast of spicy and mild ingredients such as the cucumber balanced each other well. Just wish the sandwich wad a bit more substantial in size.
Collard Greed Fried Rice ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Really enjoyed this different take on fried rice. It was delicious!
Drinks:
Grow A Pear ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
House Infused Asian pair vodka, simple syrup, lemon, sake hakutsuru
Golden Ticket ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Uncle Nearest, canton ginger, lemon, agave
And the place is black owned and operated ya’ll. They are the first restaurant in an airport to win a James Beard Award. I can’t wait to see what they will do next and how the menu might change with the seasons. When we visit again we plan to try the duck Flatbread and grilled short ribs.
