I honestly question any negative review I have seen on here.
I go to Heggy’s for breakfast at least a few times a month. Not once have I ever had bad service. My experience is nothing short of great every time I go in.
My coffee is ALWAYS fast and full. Food is great and staff are friendly and attentive. Should definitely swing by in the morning. It’s quiet, calm, and relaxing.

Always 5 stars! What’s not to love. We were there for breakfast this trip, and since I moved away, I really wanted hot buttered fries! Well, the waitress got me some!! Just like I’ve always remembered! Been going to Heggys since 1975 ish!!

Beautifully kept restaurant, amazing people, a must when stopping into salem, would recommend it to anybody. My kids love that they have cereal for breakfast!! A police officer was walking out and came back to give my kids puppies! Everytime we go there it’s a great experience!!

It’s ok. The waitress was rude. And kept popping her gum. Which is nasty. Then every time we would ask for something she would roll her eyes.
I have gone there many times and have never had this issue again. They are always so nice. I wish they did some breakfast items for dinner.
My significant other loves the eggs Benedict and sometimes we get there just a few minutes too late. But the food is always amazing and worth every penny.
Definitely would recommend for everyone to try this place. 100/10

A lovely little restaurant that is nostalgic of simpler times. Love to sit at the bar & order a homemade milk chocolate that is so rich & creamy you desire nothing more. The fried bologna is a favorite for me but my nephew swears that the grilled chicken is the best. Don’t forget to order some buttered potatoes with your meal. You’ll be glad you did. Afterwards you can stop and grab a bag of pistachios or peanuts along with a box of chocolate to take home. It’s a win, win kind of breakfast, lunch or dinner kind of thing.

This is Salem Ohio’s #1 Diner in my opinion. Don’t believe me, go check it out for yourself. Fyi today was my first time there. I ordered the veggie omelet with fresh fruit and yogurt parfait with raisin toast. My mouth is still watering!!

I bought two boxes of milk chocolates on Dec. 17. The 2 lb. box was for me. Practically all were cream filled. I received no peanut clusters, and only two pieces with nuts…the nut crisps. Very disappointed in the selection.
