I have always loved Lee’s since I was a kid growing up here in Marion Ohio. My mom used to go there all the time to get us chicken meals, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes. Love the mashed potatoes. Their coleslaw is to die for. It’s the best. And the biscuit. They have desserts also. Tea. For the last 4 years I would get a coupon for a pint of chicken livers for $4.99. They have a breading on it that is killer. Not too big to be sitting in to eat inside. They do have a place to sit at and eat. Fits 4 people. They are all very nice and the atmosphere is excellent. Did I mention it smells great inside. It hasn’t changed a bit since I was little. I do recommend you eating there.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience here. The service was great and the person who served us on Monday May 20th, 2024 was nothing but excellent. Sadly we aren’t from town (I’m from Canada) and by the time we got back to Toledo we realized that I ordered a 3 piece meal (I think it’s meal #8) and my bestie ordered an extra pint of cabbage with her chicken strips meal, but I ended up getting a 2 piece meal and she didn’t get her cabbage. Her daughter’s chicken strip meal was correct and we did get our side of deep fried pickles.
Overall I was impressed with the chicken. It’s not greasy like some other fried chicken places. If our order was correct I would easily give all 5 stars. If we lived in the area we would’ve gone back we would’ve said something, but there was nothing we could do because we didn’t notice the discrepancy until we got back to my best friend’s place in Toledo.
I still have to reiterate that the service was nothing but great.

I hadn’t been to Lee’s in years. The food was SOOOO Good! I got enough for 2-3 people. I couldn’t say no to jumbo dippers and potato salad. I couldn’t help myself. I ate it all, though. I was so stuffed and so happy. Going back anytime I’m close.

Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken is a fantastic spot for delicious fried chicken! The chicken is super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and always full of flavor.
Their sides are just as good. They have creamy mashed potatoes with gravy, crispy potato wedges that are like big tasty fries, crunchy coleslaw, sweet baked beans, and even green beans if you want some veggies.
The biscuits are soft, buttery, and taste great with honey or jam.
The customer service is awesome. The people who work at Lee’s are always friendly and ready to help. They make sure you have a great meal and a great experience every time you visit!

The people working at this restaurant are RUDE. They berated my grandmother for not leaving them a tip… I am all for tipping when you have actually been helped beyond taking an order but to raise your voice at an elderly woman on a fixed income, good grief. Do not go here and if you do ensure you are fortunate enough to be able to afford tipping.

The chicken tenders are delicious and I love the jalapeño ranch with them. The spicy dippers are made of a tougher meat that isn’t as succulent and juicy as the tenders. I also tried their mashed potato’s with gravy, potato salad, and chicken noodles… the sides, with the exception of the mashed potato’s and gravy, were gross, obviously they don’t get a bunch of traffic there. The gravy on the potato’s had a delightful kick to it and I will definitely be making this my stop above kfc from now on!

We ordered our food here and we did not receive silverware for two of the meals. I ordered the two hour leg and thigh meal it was terrible and I could not even eat it. The leg barely had any meat and tasted like it was old. It was also over cooked. The people who did not receive the silverware could not even eat their food till we arrived home 15 miles away. We were already 7 miles out of town and were stressing for time. The food was nasty,customer service lousy and even when I tried to call them it was a constant busy signal. Also the chicken was barely warm. The other three meals were not edible either. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. At least not during the lunch

Worst Lees I’ve ever visited. Chicken had an unusual odor. Suspect the frying oil has not been changed. Nearly rancid oil or possibly left over and reheated food from previous day. Will not eat here again. Very disappointing.

BEST Biscuits in the game!!! Most chain chicken spots Biscuits are as dry as my ex-wife but not here!!! Also I highly recommend the potato wedges and mac and cheese!! Very friendly employees also!!! Will be back when in town!
