An app led me to Flippin’ Pizza, and we will come back here for sure! We got a simple cheese pizza, and they captured the true essence of New York crust, with the center cheesy and thin so you have to fold it over. Seasonings were on point, too. Staff was super friendly. The brick wall inside is a cute touch, and the flags show support for our military.

Stopped here on the way home and was pleasantly surprised.
This wasn’t super greasy or overly done but on the thinner side and delicious.
I would highly recommend the buffalo if you go that way or any other option they have. They’re all pretty solid. Will come back!

Review edit: my wife kept going and it looks like they replaced the guy who made shitty pizzas. The young Ukrainian man makes an excellent pizza every time. Maybe best in San Diego.
Their problem is quality control. The pizza is expensive and it’s good roughly 60% of the time.
Totally depends on who is making the pizza. One time I can get an amazing pizza. Another time I can get a pizza with sauce ON TOP of the cheese. Literally. You cannot make this up.
Anyway. I’m done with this place. The replacement pizza also wasn’t made right so it’s incompetence.
