I’ve honestly never been disappointed with Bruster’s, but after finding out that my son and I have a dairy allergy, it sadly felt like one of our favorite treat spots was off the list.
That changed a few weeks ago when we stopped in just to check if they had any dairy-free options like sherbet — and I was so excited to learn they now offer flavors made with oat milk!
At first, there were only a couple of choices (vanilla and cookies & cream — both good, but I was secretly hoping for more). Tonight we stopped by again, and I was absolutely shocked in the best way to see my favorite flavor, White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, made with oat milk!
Of course I ordered it, and I was in complete HEAVEN. Being able to enjoy ice cream again at one of my favorite shops genuinely made my mama heart so happy.
Thank you, Bruster’s, for being inclusive and offering options for those of us with dairy allergies. It truly means more than you know

Absolutely love this place! The ice cream is delicious and you get great value for the price. The staff is always friendly, the service is quick, and the whole experience is just awesome every time we visit. They even offer military and student discounts, and our dog gets a free ice cream treat too — such a nice touch! Definitely one of our favorite spots.

I am a self-proclaimed ice cream snob, and Bruster’s is by far my favorite ice cream spot nearby. They have wonderfully creamy ice cream (harder to find than you’d think), filling portions, and welcoming staff. If you’re in the area and craving something sweet, don’t hesitate to stop by for a treat!

Took my grandsons tonight as a reward for helping me. I rewarded myself with the apple dumpling. We took everything to go. The instructions to heat up the apple dumpling were spot on and it tasted amazing! Everything was great and the staff were super helpful and friendly. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Wow, Brewsters has upgraded with more seating area and two darling picnic bench locations with umbrellas to shade us as we enjoy our ice cream treat.

When traveling through Beaufort, we often stop to enjoy some premium ice cream from Bruster’s. Bruster’s offers several varieties of ice cream and the selections are always changing. So, it’s always interesting to see what’s on their menu on any given day. Usually I find a flavor that I haven’t tried before. All of the ice creams that I have eaten from Bruster’s are full of flavor and very creamy. I have never been disappointed with the quality of the product. In fact, I like Bruster’s so much that I have driven an hour from Hilton Head Island to Beaufort with the sole purpose of enjoying a couple scoops from Bruster’s! Bruster’s truly is my favorite ice cream shop on the planet.
