A couple months back I bought a loaf and when I got it home and opend it it was very moldy, I contaced them and they send me a coupon for another loaf, but the coupon was expired! so yesterday I bought 2 loaves, I just opend one and it has mold all throughout inside so I coulndt see it what I looked at it in the store. This sucks and seems like an ongoing problem. I am going to contact the CDC and any other regulatory agencies regarding this issue.

I love Canyon Bakehouse bread and especially the cinnamon raisin bread, which is very hard to find in stores. So I ordered some from the Canyon website directly. Their shipping company (Swiship) then lost the package. Okay, stuff like this happens – but I can’t get Canyon Bakehouse to respond to any messages about it. I have sent two emails, called four times (not answered, despite calling in their working hours), left a voicemail. No reply to any of it. I’m very surprised by this but they have either got catastrophically bad customer service or have consciously decided to take no accountability for using bad shippers. Caveat emptor – avoid buying from them direct.

I got sick from gluten contaminated canyon bakehouse bagels in 2020. They issued a recall. I moved on and continued purchasing this product because there aren’t a lot of gluten free options, but now every time I buy their bread, I open it and it’s completely covered in mold. So I’m just not risking my health or wasting my money anymore. This bread is way too expensive to play mold roulette every time I buy bread.

I have not been to your location or communicated with your employees but I have been eating your GF bread for a long time now because it’s the BEST available and it’s awesome in flavor and texture. It’s be nice if the loaf size was a bit larger, but, no worries.
I’m very interested in knowing if you’ve considered making GF waffles?? I would definitely buy them!! I live in Hastings, Minnesota, near the twin cities and I purchase your product at CUB in town.
Thank for considering this.
Blessings, Nancy

I found a post on LinkedIn, I don’t know if it’s real, but supposedly they baked a mouse in the bread, I sent an email and I’m waiting for their response, for the moment I won’t purchase this product anymore.

Arrived early for my load going to Memphis they were cool and professional and the fact the smell of bagels was in the air was definitely a help. They loaded me up in a decent amount of time and then gave me free bagels that I’ll be enjoying for a good while

Don’t pay $7 for any bread product this company makes. This is the loaf of bread you buy when you first start eating GF before you realize that there are much better, even cheaper, GF products out there. Buy Schaar, or go to your local GF bakery for something worth your money. I honestly wouldn’t even pay $1 for this loaf of bread. Sounds harsh, but unfortunately, it’s true.
