Great place. I go to this place exclusively because of the people thst work there. It is by a grocery store which is helpful when you sre waiting for the pizza.
There have been some weird events that have occurred, like a transformer got crashed into snd the power went out. They still were working completing order as best they could.

Since moving to Lubbock over a year ago Papa John’s, particularly this location, has become my favorite pizza. First off the pizza is always excellent, second the service is always friendly, and as a bonus they give a free dipping sauce where other places charge seventy five cents for one. Highly recommended.

I had an order for carryout for close to $50. They did not hand my roommate the 2 litre Pepsi I paid for. I paid cash for the order. When I called they didn’t give us the Pepsi I asked them to deliver it to us for their mistake. They refused and said they will charge me for that. I asked to speak to a manager. I guess his name is Eric Taylor. The male employee I was speaking with said his manager was too busy to come to talk me for their mistake. As it stands right now I paid for a 2 liter Pepsi with cash and didn’t receive it. Nor did I get to speak to a manager to correct their mistake. I will never order from this store or any Papa John’s again with customer service this terrible.

I’m not sure what happened in the last month, but Papa Johns has been worthless. Their website breaks every time I try to check out. I tried calling the store the after having that issue a second time, and while the phone was picked up, no one was there. No one answered, no one talked to me, just chatter in the background. I won’t be ordering from Papa Johns again.

Frizzy haired worker acted like i wasn’t there refused to stop sweeping after looking directly at me while i waited with nothing happening in store and music blaring I yelled “hello” to announce my presence and they looked at me checked there phone and walked to the back. Finally i grabbed my own order as I have kids in the car and can’t wait twenty minutes for a worker to decide they want to do their job. Absolutely ridiculous behavior should be terminated. Won’t come back to this location specifically because of the unprofessional customer service I experienced.

Portion size was ridiculous! I picked my order up walked in was not greeted, waited over 5 minutes for someone to help me and there was no one making orders one person had their headphones in the other person was counting boxes. This was very disappointing as I used to love papa John’s but the location of 9th & university this is making me question if it’s worth it to drive to that location instead of supporting a location who clearly has no proper training or customer service!

My food is always delicious, never disappointed. The staff is always friendly. Super fast service. There is actually another location closer to me but I go out of my way to this one because this one is hands down the best Papa John’s location in Lubbock.

We grabbed some pizzas from here around 5:30 on 8/11. We ordered a large pepperoni and an XL New York style pepperoni. The only difference was the size of the pizzas and how big the slices were cut. They were both hot fresh and delicious though! And the garlic dipping sauce they come with is a great way to finish off the crust!

Ordered a regular pizza with regular sauce and Philly steak and got this lol not sure why. We live far away so they gave me a “guarantee” for next time but that doesn’t help the terrible pizza I have now

Wings,tiny….my pizza was a Lil soggy,no crunch.The peppers were bigger than the wings. I’ve seen bigger wings on mosquitoes.
