We engage with the barista to understand the syrups and of course take his/her recommendation on the drinks.
I do feel the barista wasn’t willing to engage in conversation about the coffee she was about to serve…and I understand, some folks are introverts, but if a customer asks for a recommendation or “what’s popular on your menu” or “which seasonal drink do you recommend”, I’d appreciate small talk.
We ordered 2 hot and one cold latte…and neither of us were able to tell which hot latte was what. The syrup/flavor was missing. Felt like we were drinking steamed milk. The iced coffee was great. So credit where credit is due.
The decor, seating and space is on point. Great atmosphere to work or just enjoy a coffee. There was a decent amount of parking spots and a ton of seating inside.
Overall, I wish we had slightly better service and drinks. This place has the potential to be a very highly recommended spot.
Food: ordered an iced Chai. Refreshing and bright taste. No complaints!
Service: the staff was very friendly and kind. Helped me navigate their menu, as well as answer questions about their merch.
Atmosphere: modern yet cozy vibes. Great place to sit and work or sit and chat; however, there is limited seating and we had to wait to find an open table. I can see why people would want to come here and why they’re busy!
Parking: very limited parking. Only 6-7 spaces in front of the store. A few 5 minute parking spots. We had to park on a neighborhood street a block away.
I tried their pour over coffee with the Guatemalan beans. It’s very good and they have a few other variations of coffee styles too. I didn’t try the food but they had some sweets available for purchase.
Overall, they did a really good job setting up the place and decorating it (modern chic theme) they also have some good coffee and food available.
PS:
11/26 around 7:45am: To whomever donated a hundred dollars to pay for everyone coffee afterwards, THANK YOU SO MUCH. You made my day so much better and I hope you have a blessed day as well 😀
