The Maple pecan sweet potato fries are to die for! Our waiter and another didn’t really know somethings about menu items and yelled back or had to leave the table twice to go ask. Love the atmosphere here is beautiful! It was really cold and I had to wear my coat the entire visit unfortunately. Overall great supper and we will definitely visit again!

A little chilly inside but oh lord the food is amazing. If you like a black bean burger this is the best one I’ve ever had. It’s crisp and seasoned too perfection with perfectly seasoned fried potatoes. The other menus items are things you would find at a fancy or upscale restaurant and I would recommend trying what they have to offer.

I went for a quick lunch one day. The food was definitely delicious I ordered the boneless wings and decent wait times for it as well. The only reason it is four stars is that the price was a bit steep for such a small portion of food especially during lunch time could possibly benefit from having a few lunch specials or something. Upscale fine dining environment and the waitress was very kind and attentive! Would go again on a date more than likely but probably not a regular lunch for just myself.

This place is AWESOME! I have not been disappointed any time I have eaten here. Excellent choices, always delicious. Service is awesome, very friendly, easy going staff. Great atmosphere. Does private parties, has a mini coffee bar, homemade desserts, alcohol and an alleyway to chillax! Go here next time or every time you want to grab a bite to eat!!

My second time here! Just as delicious as the first. I highly recommend the fried potatoes and spinach artichoke dip. Talk about yummy! Nice and clean. LOVED THE MUSIC! Waitress greeted us with a smile. Go enjoy something from this hidden gem!

My husband an I live in Los Angeles and we were excited and surprised to find Jovalou in Fairfield, Il. The food is delicious and on par with the bistros we frequent in LA and the atmosphere is unique and welcoming. I eat a mostly vegan diet and Javalou has always had multiple menu options for me – tofu burgers, hand crafted veggie burgers, grilled portobellos, salads, sides and more – while my husband indulges in the well cooked steaks. We have been several times and the menu evolves seasonally. We will be back!

A great atmosphere unlike any other in the area. They have a great craft beer selection, and great cocktails. They always have a burger of the month that is next level. The wait staff is always polite, professional, and hard working. They have some of the best wings around, and anything that comes out of the kitchen is made with love. This place is worth the stop if you find yourself cruising through Fairfield, IL.
