After trying nearly every place from norwich to danielson. This is my new favorite. Service is above and beyond. Im surprised to see a variety of hot pot and noodle bowls, etc. I haven’t got around to trying everything, but everything ive tried has been great!

Portion size / cost is also best around.

My husband & I decided to finally try the New Imperial Room. We ordered takeout. He picked it up. The prices are good. Good amount if food. We had the beef & vegetable, wonton soup, chicken lo main , pork fried rice and combo platter with ribs, rangoon and chicken wings. We got a pint of wonton soup, the wontons were mushy not much flavor. Other than the wonton , the rest of our food was delicious. We will be ordering from them again.

It’s always a new experience when we eat here. I love all the staff, Ella is the best The authentic flavors, flower tea, and frozen beautifully shaped fruit in the scorpion bowl. We always look forward to trying something new I received the special fortune and am excited to try my honey lollipop(when I’m not so full)

First time at this new restaurant, the young ladies working the front register were very capable. I ordered Philadelphia Rolls and a Large Shrimp fried rice. The Shrimp fried rice was very good and made 2 meals from it and the price wasn’t bad. The Philadelphia Rolls, to me, seemed much Bigger than other sushi orders at other places and they were the Tastiest that I can remember. Will definitely be back when traveling thru the area again. I truly hope this new business does well and continues.
There is a public parking lot right across the street from the restaurant.

The food was awesome as well as the service. Im not lying when I said we ordered food and it was piping hot and delivered to our table is 3 minutes, smoking hot too. Massive menu with literally hundreds of food items as well an extensive sushi menu. My only complaint was we dined in and the vibe was very very blah. Weirdly decorated, one wall was pink another was purple another blue with geometric figures others were wallpapered another had 10ft menu. Just weird layout and design. But everything else was outstanding and I would most definitely order from there again.

The sushi was very fresh with a lot of texture, probably the best sushi I’ve had around here. The waitress whom I believe is the owner was very sweet and attentive. Crab rangoon was delicious my friend said the best she’s ever had. We had a wonderful dining experience I would highly recommend.

Unfortunately was not a fan of the food at all. All the food was soggy and tasted very odd. The crab Rangoon had no flavor outside of sour cream and cream cheese, but was at least crispy. I ordered online but when arriving at the restaurant was charged extra because I asked that the crab Rangoon not be packed on top of the food due to a shellfish allergy. I understand that having to pack it into a separate container costs the restaurant more and that’s fine to charge the customer more but they had packed it in boxes that were then just thrown in and left open after having paid extra to stick the two pieces of crab Rangoon in you would think they would have at least closed it. Unfortunately this was not what I was expecting based off the reviews. I will say I did give more than one star because the place was very clean and well kept.

So, after reading a few reviews about the New Imperial Room in Danielson, we decided to go check it out for ourselves. It is set up modestly, but functionally comfortably. We were given time to check out the menu, make our selections and less than a half hour later, we’re served our food. Let me just tell you! Crab ragoons w/duck sauce, and pan fried dumplings w/garlic sauce were to die for! The crunch of the ragoons w/ the flavorful, creamy crab filling, and the delicious dumplings, meat filling inside moist noodle dumpling, w/pan sear–were off the charts! A hot sweet n sour soup, I was told, was light broth-not heavy & sticky, as some can be, the ingredients were finely chopped and carried an excellent flavor.

The main dishes were Hunan Double Delight & Gai Poo Lo Mein. First impression : aye, yi, yi! The portions were huge! Definitely more bang for your buck! Each bite gave us a flavor explosion in our mouths! Each ingredient stacked, or layered immense flavors, make you ultimately groan, for how good it tastes!

Overall dining experience: a family affair, informal setting where people actually enjoyed talking amongst the table parties. Ella is the wife, manager and wait staff, and full of generosity & advice on how to get the most from your dining experience, with “secret” suggestions to enjoy genuine Chinese food with more flavors! It’s true, over the years, Americans have Americanized Chinese food cuisine, leaving authentic Chinese food in China. Ella and her husband, Chef/cook Ling and their bright, wonderful daughter, Selena, are gracious hosts, who thrill to bring you the best in authentic, flavorful Chinese cuisine!
Welcome to Danielson New Imperial Room!

Delicious food and wonderful, friendly service. Very large menu, including sushi as well. The dining area is not as fancy as some restaurants, but it is clean and well organized. Prices are very reasonable, making it a great value. It is now my go-to for Chinese food in this area.
