Wow! The lobster roll was phenomenal. We ordered 1 hot, 1 cold and loved both. The clam chowder is delicious. The only negatives: the outdoor seating is a little rough and the cost. $28 for a lobster roll is $$ but seems to be the norm here

Food was good and fresh, I got the warm butter lobster roll with fries and a soda. ( Holy butter ) But not for $40! $33 plus tip. That’s ridiculous. Wish they put more lobster on there for that price. Location is key, right next to the train tracks and tons of people walking by. That’s a one and done tourist trap. Would never go to again. You can find free 30 minute parking on the street. There is also a parking lot for $10. All walking distance. This shuck shack is very close to the beach.

Lobster roll, haddock sandwhich and clam chowder was fresh and good, conveniently located walking distance from old orchard beach. Was not a fan of the lobster poutine – it was their waffles fries, with lots of gravy and 3-4 pieces on lobster meat. Chicken tenders were average.

We tried the mayo lobster roll, butter lobster roll, and clam chowder. The lobster was fresh and tender and surprisingly great price compared to some of the places I’ve seen. Every single thing was delicious! The service was great and the location and atmosphere couldn’t be beat!

We ordered 2 Buttered Lobster Rolls one with tots. These were by far the best tasting steamed lobster rolls we’ve had. The lobster was juicy and sweet not chewy at all, just delicious. Thenbread was buttered and grilled, not too large so the bread didn’t overtake the lobster. The tots were cooked to perfection added their special seasoned salt which made them even better! Must try!

I went to this place in July 2025. I was visiting Old Orchard Beach and had no idea where to go. I just wanted to grab a poutine and a lobster roll. I’ve traveled to 22 countries and have a pretty good understanding of food. I ordered the Connecticut-style lobster roll. The roll was perfectly buttered and warm. The lobster was a generous portion for the price, it was cooked just right, and the warm butter addition made it even better. I never meant to find this place, true serendipity. Overall, I think this place is amazing!

We stopped by on our weekend trip, and it was hands down the best lobster roll we had in Maine Also, their version of poutine is absolutely to die for — instead of gravy, it’s topped with rich, flavorful lobster bisque, and it’s incredible. The staff is friendly & welcoming! Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Maine!
