I’ve lived in Rochester, my whole life and came here for the first time about a month ago. It is absolutely a beautiful bar. The inside is very classy and elegant, but the outside balcony that overlooks the city on one side and then on the other side of the bar is another outside area, where there is an outside fireplace. Both so very nice. Pricey, but when you walk in, you can tell it’s pricey. So that was not a surprise. Definitely worth it.

I will be honest,I don’t know who to blame for the New Year’s event hosted by Afterglow neon but everyone was at fault. I am very disappointed in the whole thing and wasted a $120 person for no reason. It was suppose to be at the Hilton hotel on the rooftop bar,or thats where the address was and next thing you know,there was a sign that said,afterglow party moved to the country club across the street. They had a wedding planned for up top so they moved us at the club. It was a house party rather than an event.No one that was working for the event,did not apologize or anything,they thought everything was okay. Our group even asked random people what they thought,and they all thought the same-thing,that it was on the rooftop bar at the hotel not at the country club mansion.
requested a dispute on my card because it was truly disappointing and just wrong for the owners/hosts to do. I hope they see this and make a better event later on. All in all it was a terrible night,terrible event,way to experience for what we got and I will definitely never be going to an event by them. Thats for sure.

Dinner with a view! Hattie’s is a little bit expensive but it is an incredible or experience. The food and service were great. Drinks were awesome. You can sit outside on any side of the building or be inside at a table or bar. This is truly a must and you won’t forget your time here. I also had the best edamame that I’ve ever had. Pro tip: plan your dinner with the sunset for a bonus experience.

Pretty facility… BUT was there for a Halloween event that removed ALL seating.
This was just awful for my poor back and we had to leave after 2 hours to avoid more pain.
I’m sure under different circumstances this is a lovely facility, but this is the best I can do given NO seating.

Great rooftop bar. Great service and good food. Cocktail and food menu have been more limited after the pandemic, but you can’t beat the views. For example, the limited bar seating faces the sunrise over the Rochester city line.
Bartenders know their craft though, don’t be afraid to order cocktails off-menu.
Pro-tip: Call ahead, as the rooftop venue is often reserved for special events.

Lovely spot! We were there on a Friday night, and they definitely needed more seating. One lady sat directly on my hand and then her friend got mad that my husband and I couldn’t squeeze on one tiny cushion. That being said, the service was wonderful, the drinks were great, and the view was lovely.

My friends and I came here for drinks on 6/8/18. I always had heard good things of this rooftop bar so I wanted to try it out. The views of Rochester from the outside patio are phenomenal. Yes the drinks are expensive, about 2 dollars more per mixed drink than at other places but I think it’s worth the price to sit or stand outside. The only problem is the bartenders are in a sunken area which really isn’t appropriate with what some bartenders wear. The bartender also ignored me for 3 other grouos of people but also served my 3 friends so that was outrageous. However the view and the strength if the drink more than made up for the two cons of this place!

Let me preface by saying I never leave reviews.Don’t go unless you intend to be tricked into spending more money. My wife and I were staying at this hotel and went up to get a drink on the last night of the trip. We were greeted icily by Mary J (the bartender) who proceeded to try to upsell and not listen to a word we said. My wife ordered a well dry martini with a lemon twist and was served with olives that thankfully the bartender remade. But, when asking for the low end price point whiskeys the bartender offered the upper end price point which thankfully I realized before ordering. Finally when we closed the tab (only one drink after this experience) it reflected Beefeater instead of Seagram’s which I asked about but was told that is because there is no Seagrams in the system and all their lower shelf gins are the same price. If you have ever bought gin or any liquor you know this is not how this works. We cordially left and tipped nevertheless, but I feel the experience meds to be relayed as this is clearly a combination of bad service and attempts to charge inebriated customers more without their knowledge. Be on guard and never be afraid to ask questions or for what you ordered.

This was the best rooftop bar we went to in Rochester. We were having trouble finding a place to go on a Monday evening here and these guys are open until midnight. Awesome views from the rooftop and Graham mixed up some great made to order cocktails.
