Never order fried fish cake in this place. It’s all fried flour, not a single taste or whif of cat fish in that dish. We even asked the server to try it for herself but she declined and kept arguing with us. Even with the complaint and not being able to eat the dish, they still added it on our bill. We used to like this place that’s why we keep going back but aa the years go by, the quality of the food has greatly changed and they have been skimping on ingredients. This will be the last time i’m eating here.

Thai Central Cuisine wasn’t on the itinerary during our Los Angeles trip, but we stumbled upon it after descending from the Hollywood Hills. Unexpectedly, it turned out to be the best meal we had in the city — and one of the highlights of our entire trip. The flavors and presentation still linger in our minds until now, and we often find ourselves talking about it to this day. It was the perfect farewell dinner to mark our final night in Los Angeles and the end of our journey. The Seafood soup is a must-try. This was in July 2024, yes I am late but did not forget posting this well-deserved compliment to this hidden gem! If ever I go to LA again, this is the first place to go on my list!

Situated in the same plaza as the famous Ruen Pair, this restaurant has its own unique flavors! We got tom yum noodle, crispy pork, phu pla rha papaya salad. Both spice level: medium- there was a nice kick!! Love the food.

Thai Central Cuisine in LA offers such amazing Thai food that I wish I could bring it back to Canada! The flavors are authentic and vibrant, making every dish a culinary delight. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy meal. Whether you’re a fan of spicy curries or savory noodles, this place has something for everyone. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves Thai cuisine!

I was looking for a quick lunch while I was out walking my dogs. I was craving Thai food and stumbled upon this place with a few small tables outside. The staff were really friendly and even brought water out for the pets. The menu is extensive and I appreciated the photos of each dish because it helped me order new items I haven’t tried. The food came out quickly and was really good. I recommend!

Sooooo good!!! I had my reservations as I love Thai food and it’s hard to find Thai food as good as what you have in Thailand, but this place is it!! I don’t know where to start because everything was so good!! We had the pork jerky, prad ka prow with chicken & egg, phat see ew flat noodle, fried tofu, and the noodle soup- with egg noodle. The broth was delicious, the flavors very layered without being overwhelming, the ambience is very welcoming. As a family, we definitely would come back again. Next time, I’ll try the curry ❤️

I love Thai foods and I love this place, portion is good, but the only complaint I have is that their noodle broths & foods is SO SWEET!!!! You guys put so much sugar in your foods, I can taste it right away and I tried many dish and all the dish is extremely sweet. I could get diabetes if I eat here often. I think the flavor is good and have good aroma flavor, but man ease down on the sugar or ask customer level of sweet I don’t know. It’s like eating sugar.

Message to Management/Owner:

We ordered Tam Thaad (Picture and Description has grill Chicken). What we got is grilled pork instead (see picture).

The server never informed us of the meat replacement. We complained about it, but the server would offer any meat replacement.

While eating, my wife saw a piece of staple (see picture) on her food. We can’t image what would happened if we chew or swallow the piece of metal. We don’t know if there are more staples or other things that were served in our food.

We informed the server and she told us that they will remake the disk without the grill pork. We asked for a manager, but were informed that there is no manager at the restaurant.

We were so pissed off at their non-caring attitude (no apology for serving us food with staple) that we asked the to have the remake food togo.

The server gave us the check that included the desert item that was not delivered. We have to ask the server to remove the item.

When we got home and inspect whether what we got were really remade:

The “remake dish” was definitely just whatever in our plate earlier:
1. No noodle.
2. The salad have no crab meat at all.
3. No meat (like they told us).

We are regular customers since we like some dishes here. This experience really makes us think about coming back.

Traveled to LA for work and my wife being Thai wanted to visit Thai Town for obvious reasons. Spent a couple of days walking through and eating at several establishments, one of which was Thai Central. This place was also recommended by the staff at Thai Patio just down the way. We ordered some sour Isaan sausage as an appetizer which was pretty good. I also ordered the Pad Kra Paw Moo and my wife ordered YenTa Fo soup. The Pad Kra Paw Moo was ok but not spicy at all. The server didn’t ask what spice level I wanted so I assume they don’t think a farang can handle any spice. My wife commented her soup was very good. She said she felt “Thailand” in that dish. So the food was ok to good, the atmosphere was nice, but the big downer was the server. She was not happy and she let us know it. All in all I wouldn’t mind coming back to try some other dishes but my wife refuses to come back.

The best Thai food we’ve ever had. Very flavorful. We had two different types of curry, drunken noodles, pad Thai, fried rice, chicken satay, fried tofu, and egg rolls. Some of the food was “melt in your mouth” good. Was able to choose spice level and tables had extra spices on the side. Huge selection. They are in a plaza so there was amble parking available.
