Absolutely FANTASTIC! Best mom and pop shop around. I had no idea this restaurant was in the Zehrs plaza. I completely missed it. The food was exceptionally good. And the most reasonable prices around!! I had poached eggs medium w/rye toast and I opted for the pancakes instead of home fries. They have to be the best pancakes I’ve ever had at a restaurant, others have tasted like a cardboard box, not here. I’m picky about my poached eggs, they were perfect, cooked not microwaved. Friends were also very pleased. They had french toast with bacon and the club house with fries. Everything was so fresh.
They also had honey for the tea which was definitely appreciated.
The waitress was attentive and the owner/cook came out to say hi.
The place was packed, guessing with regulars. We will most certainly be back.

Somewhere between “family-owned charm” and “is that smoke part of the ambiance?” the grill entered its villain era. The omelette arrived with the texture of a roofing shingle. The potatoes fries had clearly been on a spiritual journey through fire. Aggressively dry. Bold choice.
It’s impressive, honestly. Achieving this level of consistent overcooking requires commitment. Not seasoning. Not timing. Commitment.
If you enjoy your meals with a hint of charcoal-forward regret and a suspenseful guessing game of “is this well-done or commemorative?”, this is your spot.
On the bright side, the smoke aroma follows you home, so technically you get takeaway perfume included.

Super friendly service nice to see that you can get a good breakfast at 6am, l was looking as I wanted to sit and enjoy breakfast before driving and yes I was the first customer the guy was very friendly. Most places didn’t open on Sunday till 8am but l needed to get going.
Breakfast was good perfectly cooked everything was spot on.
Will certainly go back if in the area.
