What a great find! We enjoyed a couple of breakfast stops here. A very rustic humble roadside stand hides the cornucopia inside. Pastries were a delight and a cut above with great flavors. Breakfast biscuits were tasty and substantial. The Montecristo was something else! A magnificent feast of flavors. Easy to share. Don’t expect your normal fast food because it isn’t. And the service is geared to preparing each order as fresh as possible. Plan to wait a minute for your food. But don’t pass by with stopping.

We went there today just for a cinnamon roll and ended up eating brunch. Inexpensive, huge portions. We had the Blended Mocha, Iced Chai, Loaded Hashbrowns, Breakfast bowl, Avocado Toast, strawberry cream cheese danish, and took home 2 Lemon Blueberry Cinnamon Rolls and 2 regular for $90. What a bargain! We will be back!

This is one of the most quaint, friendly, homemade treats and excellent food I’ve been to. Lovely, just lovely They have my favorite gnomes and trolls to boot! The danishes, cookies, muffins, cheese or fruit pinwheels are over the top. Way above and beyond. Just adorable I will be going back every chance I can ☺️

Super charismatic small bakery and sandwich shop!
Lovely staff, locally owned and operated.
Excellent fresh baked goods.
I had the grilled turkey sandwich with chips. Everything scratch made – it was delicious.
Parking is right outside, and larger vehicles can use the lot west of the cottage.
Open in season at 5 am.

I live just down the road and have meant to stop by for a year. Finially did.
Got four fruit pastries. All were delicious and not too sweet. Fruit was ripe.
Got an eggnog latte, a peppermint hot chocolate, an earl grey with spicy cranberry and honey.
Also got some coconut pudding and New York cheese cake bits.
Everything was amazing. For real. Prices are great. We didn’t get any entrees. Place is small… but super cute. Highly recommend.

First time trying yak burger and sandwich! Then got to have a milkshake, pastry and cookie!!
What a lovely spot, friendly and nice staff. On the way out we even got suggestions to stop at Cripple creek to get some of the mining history of these areas.
Stop by if you have chance!

This place had great service and it was nice to enjoy breakfast and coffee outside. The food was good, it could have been slightly better but, all in all it was a good meal. My girlfriend said that the breakfast sandwich on croissant was great!

Honestly this is one of those places i dont want to review so i can keep it my little secret….it’s that good.
10/10, best small diner in CO, there’s not even a close second. From homemade bread, to their mocha coffees.
The Monte Cristo is out of this world.
It’s a lil on the pricy side, but for food this good i have zero issues supporting a small family business. Always warm welcoming friendly faces.

I just moved here from Michigan and I’m currently halfway through this chorizo burrito. I’m not saying I’m going into Witness Protection, but I’m definitely not going back.
In Michigan, a ‘big’ breakfast is an extra side of toast. Here? I’m holding a flour-wrapped infant filled with the most delicious chorizo I’ve ever tasted. I’ve only been in town a week and I already feel like this burrito and I have a deeper emotional connection than I do with most of my extended family.
I’m eating this so fast I might accidentally swallow the foil, and honestly, I wouldn’t even be mad about it. If you’re looking for me, don’t. I live here now. This is my home. Between these two ends of the tortilla.
