Went here after a show and it was the cherry on top of a great night. Great vegan selection, got the squash, cauliflower and vegan beef tacos and they were all great in their own way-the squash was especially memorable. We went around 9pm Nov 8 2025 and there was still a lot of fall atmosphere and I got a delicious pumpkin beer on tap! We also got vegan fried pickled jalapeños and they were great to munch on with our drinks. My friends shared a big plate of wings that were on special and they said they were great as well. We had a very attentive server, all in all a great experience and very satisfied! Can’t wait to go back and try more things.

My family and I are Wednesday night regulars, we love coming here as the food and service is amazing. Caitlyn, Ryan and Dan provide exceptional service, which is what keeps us coming back. Happy hour specials make going out to eat on Long Island affordable while enjoying a nice evening out with the family. They are super attentive, engage with our children and make us feel like family. I highly recommend their margaritas and you can’t go wrong with any of their taco selections. My picky kids who perfer to eat crappy McDonald’s food devour their chicken tacos and rice. I’ve worked in the food service business for years so I have high standards and recognize good service. I also held a food managers certificate and the place is spotless. I rate this restaurant a 10 out of 10 for their cleanliness, service and food quality.

Food is always fresh and very tasty. Not too crazy about the way they are presented in paper woth no utensils.
We’ve been here twice, we’ve had the same waitress both times and she is just very inattentive. She walks by the table and doesn’t ask if you need anything, even though our drinks are empty. She just seems very uninterested.

Be careful with your bill. If you don’t pay attention, they will charge you $16 for a $9 shot and then blame it on the computer. Re-bring you the bill only to lower it down to $14 and then you gotta correct them again and then they give you an attitude for trying to correct them. Other than that cool spot.

Disappointing experience. Visited the restaurant on Saturday around 8PM. We stood at the door for a while before the security sat us down. We sat down and had to wait pretty long time before the waitress came over with the menu. Food was terrible. $15.00 EACH for carne asada tacos is a rip off. Carne was chewy and mostly white fat. I have had better tacos on the street for $3.00. Service was terrible, NO napkins, NO silverware,water and drinks on plastic clear cups and tacos came in paper plates. $61.00 before tip for 2 drinks 4 tacos is not worth it for the food. Chorizo tacos were cold, greasy and with no flavor at all. Will not visit again. There plenty of tacos places in the are a lot cheaper and way better quality.

The restaurant itself looks nice inside and it does have couple of options for vegans. But I would not come back here or recommend this place either. Upon our arrival we had to wait about 7-10 minutes to get seated (wait time isn’t an issue if the place is packed but given there were 3 people at the bar, a table that was paying the bill and a couple sitting outside… it was a bit ridiculous to have to wait that long). The bartender who is also the server looked at us a few times then finally sat us down (group of 5). When we got to order our drinks I specifically ordered a spicy mocktail and he bought out a spicy margarita; I can understand if he made a mistake but to make rude and sarcastic remarks was uanessacry. He brought out the right drink and it tasted like dawn dish soap and it lacked the spicy rim that was suppose to come with the drink. The server continued with his rude behavior as we completed our meal (the rude remarks continued when my friend asked for a specific sauce and when we ordered our meal). When observing his behavior with the costumers across the table, he seemed all so pleasant.
We ordered chicken tacos, a shrimp burrito, vegan crunch wrap, and a pulled pork sandwich with fries. We also got a side of extra fries and plantains. The good itself wasn’t all that great either. I personally could have made a better meal for less the price.

Last night after work, I stopped by Ruby Soho’s for a drink. It was my close family member’s 21st heavenly birthday, and I wanted to have a drink in his honor. I had never been there before, but as I was walking by Wellwood trying to find a place, I noticed the rainbow flags outside which prompted me to go in.
The bartenders were incredibly friendly. Dan took his time to really talk with me, and I appreciated how attentive and welcoming he was. I felt like I was actually 21 again, stepping into a new place for the first time. He made me feel instantly comfortable and even shared a bit of the bar’s history. At one point, the second bartender (sorry, I forgot his name!) played a specific song on their personal speaker since it wasn’t available on the jukebox. That meant so much.
What started as a rough, emotional day turned into something really special thanks to the kindness of the staff. I’m truly grateful. Please pass this along as their acts of kindness made a difference and deserve to be recognized.

We were looking for a relaxed, fun, casual environment in Lindenhurst. Came upon Ruby Soho’s, a cool little taco place..but that’s not all they have! First off, the ambience is beautiful, very sheik looking. The alternative music was fantastic! On to the food…we got the Vegan Crunch Wrap which had black beans, cabbage slaw, rice, lettuce and tomato. We opted out of the vegan protein. The second thing we got was The Holy Black Crunch Wrap. For this one we chose the Buffalo crispy chicken, rice, jalapeños(a must), cheese, rice, tomato and shredded cabbage. Both wraps came in a perfectly toasted crunchy outer shell. Every bite was deliciously tasty. Each meal was complimented with a side of homemade, seasoned chips. The service was exceptional and attentive. So glad we discovered this hidden Lindenhurst gem, we will be back Ruby Soho’s!
