I had an amazing experience at the hibachi restaurant thanks to Sean! He was not only skilled at the grill, but also incredibly friendly and engaging, making the whole dinner a fun and memorable event. His cooking was absolutely delicious, and he put on such a great show with style and humor that had everyone at the table smiling. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does, and it made the entire experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back and asking for Sean again!

We went for lunch. The service was good. The food was cooked before us, loved the small tricks the chef did before us. They serve halal. The chicken was a little hard, could have been softer. The salad was too sweet. The onion soup was good. Overall one time visit for me. Not worth the money.

I had an amazing dining experience at Bonsai Hibachi! Our chef, Shawn, was the highlight of the evening—funny, skilled, and full of energy. He put on a great show while cooking right in front of us, and the food was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The whole vibe was lively and family-friendly, and Shawn’s signature hat and engaging style made it even more memorable. Excellent food, great service, and an unforgettable experience. I’m glad that we tried. The waitress suggested trying The Kobbe Steak from the Hibachi section. We also ordered noddles yaki Odin with beef and hibachi chicken with fried rice. The food was really good, and we loved the experience of food being cooked in front of us with a personal touch .. and the fire was amazing

Great neighborhood restaurant, still busy at 10pm which is always a good sign in the suburbs. Food was great, teppanyaki chef Sean was awesome. Reasonably priced. We will be back.

I came here for the first time as a walk-in to place a to-go order. The staff are very nice and the food didnt take too terribly long. I was in and out within about 20-25 mins. Food tastes great 🙂 definitely coming back to have a sit down meal.

Updated: A very lovely restaurant with great food and kind servers! Their happy hour options come out quick and tasty and wonderful for the price point.
I also ordered the Copperfield Roll, and I would highly recommend it if the ingredients are to your liking!
I’m currently rating 4 stars because I plan to go back soon and try their steak! I got too full on sushi this visit, but there’s always next time!
Update: I went back and ordered the steak, but the environment was a little different this time. I waited to be seated and the servers looked at me confused for some reason. It took one of the chefs to greet me and let me seat myself.
Once seated, the server who took my order was pleasant and polite.
I ordered the Bonsai (Kobe steak & lobster). I was pleasantly surprised to find it also came with shrimp which was good as almost every piece of lobster still had some bits of shell still on it. The steak was very good, but for the price point I’d stick with their happy hour sushi.
