Absolutely delicious food, perfect to takeout and eat at the nearby plazas! The fried chik’n sandwich is incredible and also huge. The sausage, egg & cheese is also super delicious – I got mine with the English muffin. The sausage is super well seasoned and so tasty.
We also got one of the day-old donuts (Maple Bac’n) and it was so good. The chocolate croissant and almond croissant were both super yummy too.
Service was good and fast, and there are many choices. We can’t wait to be back to try some more!

Honestly love everything about this place. Service was awesome. The energy of the atmosphere was chill and casual. Plus the food was truly amazing. One of the best vegan breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. I travel for work and was only here for one day, but this will be the spot I come back to any time I’m in town. Highly recommend!

On a scale of romance novels to documentaries, Viridis is Wolfpack by Abby Wambach. Slim, concise, and straight-to-the-point, it’s a flavorful punch to living the life of your dreams.
Viridis offers a minimalist space full of bright light, white walls, and lovely greenery with a decadent spread of pastries, vegan sandwich options, and coffee galore. Welcoming yet COVID-cautious, the staff at Viridis sticks to their internal policy on masks, mask-wearing, and indoor dining (which you can do as long as you wear your mask once you’re done eating).
My Instagram feed has been singing the praises of Viridis for quite a while now so I’d been longing to make a moment to stop, and when a friend and I were on the hunt for a brunch place, we chose Viridis!
I’m slightly obsessed with cinnamon rolls, and I was astounded by the brioche cinnamon roll at Viridis (please see the photo). From the exquisite presentation of frosting rolling off the sides of the voluminous cinnamon roll to the first bite that perfectly married crunch and softness, this cinnamon roll won my delight. See, you can see that I’m obsessed with pastries in how I write an ode to cinnamon rolls.
We also ordered tea, an iced Americano, a breakfast sandwich, a vegan steak sandwich, a yeast iced doughnut, and a cinnamon roll. Overall, we enjoyed the meal immensely, and we delighted in taking lots of photos.

Viridis has some of the best baked goods you’ll ever have! love that everything is vegan and they are great about answering questions regarding allergy concerns. so sad to see this place close. if you can make it out before they close I’d recommend you do so!

Had breakfast here on Saturday. It was absolutely amazing. Very cute, minimalist atmosphere. Very friendly staff. We had the honee chick’n sandwich and the breakfast sandwich, both of which were delicious. I had an oat milk latte which was also wonderful. Will be back soon. A true vegan heaven.

My family and I took a trip to Pittsburgh this weekend and we decided to try this place out. It did not disappoint!! I feel like good vegan breakfast food is pretty hard to come by but the donuts, cinny rolls, muffins and breakfast sandwiches are unmatched. And the latte??? Pure perfection. Can’t wait to visit again next time I’m in town!

So happy to have Viridis added to the vegan options in Pittsburgh. Loved by even our carnivorous friends, this is our Sunday morning go to. Their Breakfast sandwich is amazing and their Seitan Club is our newest favorite. They have also followed all COVID guidelines ensuring their safety as well as their patrons. I tell all of my friends and clients about them and highly suggest everyone gives them a try!

I’ve stopped by Viridis twice so far and really enjoyed the almond croissant and the donuts. My friend loved the banana pudding. The latte was okay, but I wished it was hotter. I’m so glad to have a vegan bakery available downtown! I will be back to try more things.
