Bun Buds is a specialty takeout restaurant featuring a menu of chinese dumplings, bao buns, and unique foot-long hot dogs. We started as two college students running food cart in Providence, and now we are located in Fall River to provide the city with a refreshing and fun take on classic dumplings and dogs.

Just what the city needed!
100/10, would recommend the entire menu. Order for curbside/take out and expect to wait around 20 mins. The bao buns are all incredible. The dumplings are literally individual perfect bites.
They do $1 dumplings during the week and offer catering. So excited about this spot!

This place was amazing I think I am going back today for some $1 dumplings! I split this with my daughter and we were both surprised it actually filled us up! I was stuffed gives a lot of meat with the short rib boa! Pictures do it no justice this is a must try! The have $1 dumpling between 2-5 so why not give it a try! I promise u won’t be disappointed!

Super fresh quality ingredients. Love the spicy pork dumplings. The chili crisp they use is delicious. I love their dollar dumpling deals. The Korean bbq bao buns shouldn’t be missed either!

The owner is from Johnson and Wales University. They have dollar dumplings from 2 to 5 PM Monday through Saturday. They started out as a hotdog cart and now they do dogs and dumplings. Signature dish is the Korean short rib bun! Delicious!

Me and my girlfriend came here and got the platter for two with the BBC hotdog. The place itself was nice and the guy working there was friendly. When ordering, my girlfriend asked if the dumplings could be made spicy, and the owner said no they only come straight up, but the way he said it came across a bit rude.
The food came out quickly. The BBC hotdog was amazing and probably one of the best I’ve had and something I’d definitely come back for. The dumplings, though, were pretty bland and not something I’d order again. Overall, for the price, the amount and quality of food was disappointing.

Great price too! The owner was really cool, and I really liked the cute little outdoor seating section. It’s not really a sit in restaurant, so on rainy days or for large groups it would be better to pick up or do a delivery order.

Having been to bun buds quite a few times, I can safely say it’s an excellent spot! I’ve gotten several different menu items and loved them all. Flavor and texture has been excellent in every dish. The Bao is a personal favorite as well as the Tokyo Drift hot dog.
As a fellow JWU grad it is so great to see them grow and thrive. The restaurant is very clean with an open kitchen. I’ll admit, It’s nice to watch them prepare your meal. I recommend this place to friends all the time and will continue to support them and their additions to the community in the future!
