I absolutely love coming here when I have time to do so. Everytime I do me and the owners have a pleasant conversation while my meal is being lovingly crafted. Getting to know them bit by bit everytime I come in has been a wonderful treat on top of their amazing food.

I can’t say enough about this place, give it a try, meet them for yourself, lovely people, great food, just be prepared to chat and hear about their amazing life.

You need to know that this is not a fast food chain.
It is run by the sweetest couple and make each sandwich with care and pride.

I loved all the meat, walking in, you think it is a dive, which it almost is, but a chill relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and happy people.

You will wait for your food, as mentioned it’s not a fast food place, churning out ‘plastic’ food. But the wait is worth it.

I would definitely go back.
Go support this local business!

The Philly is the best in Spokane .
Closest thing I’ve found to a real Philly. The prices keep increasing though almost to the point where it’s not worth it. The owners are sweet and old. They work hard which I can appreciate! The only real downside is their hours here! They close at 3:30 PM So they’re always closed when I want a Philly lol.. Given school hours, if they stayed open just one hour longer, they would have so much more business!! I don’t want to see this place shut down. They are so yummy So I try to support them as much as I can, but seriously if they just opened their hours till 4:30 PM – 5 PM It would be a game changer. !!! And if not, if they offered DoorDash delivery or Ubereats they would GAIN so much more business as well!
*A normal large Philly is $17 but the meat has been lesser and lesser so I ordered double meat (usually that’s only a few bucks) but my sandwich came out to $22.
That’s more then restaurant pricing — I wish they’d do more to gain there business as opposed to continuously up charging the customers they do have

Photo is of a “double meat Philly”

This is not a good philly at all. I’m so sorry. The meat tasted old. The couple that own it are wonderful. They might want to sell or retire. Let someone buy it that can breathe new life into it and make a killer spot!

Great people running the place , but the cheesesteak left something to be desired. Portions were extremely small for the pricing, and steak tasted like the frozen “Steak-umms” product from the grocery store. Alas, the quest for a good cheesesteak in Spokane continues…

Same elderly couple are still making sandwiches; however, not for the better. They are smaller, more expensive, and it’s hard to think that all the ingredients listed on the menu are being used. There is no fair value in buying their product. We got three of the same sandwiches (Bacon Steak), and after paying $50 w/tax, it may have been the most disappointing food purchase we’ve made in years. Obviously, it was the last time ever coming here…

Stopped here for lunch and had the 6″ Italian and a soda for under $10. The sandwich was very good with a fresh roll and tasty fillings. You have your choice of beef or chicken. All sides are extra, and your cola choice is RC, which I haven’t seen in awhile! This Mom & Pop shop is a great break from all the burger places on Sullivan Rd. in the Valley. I’m certainly not going to be a stranger here!

An absolute wow experience I’m a big foodie and I don’t eat out very much because I’d rather just cook myself. But I took a chance and I’m glad I did! Soooooo good! Wow!

I was on my way to another restaurant and saw the sign out front that said cheesesteaks. I immediately began craving a good cheesesteak. I ordered a foot-long with fries and a water. When my food came out they gave me two napkins and one pack of ketchup. I knew I would need more ketchup. I went ahead and ate my fries with the catch-up she provided and then when the single packet ran out I went up to the counter to ask for more catch-up and stood there for over 10 minutes with the owner nowhere to be found. When she finally came to the front I asked for more ketchup and she told me there would be a charge for the catch-up and it would be $.20 for each pack of ketchup. Ketchup is a condiment and should not be an item that is charged for. Then after I sat down after a brief argument over her trying to charge me for ketchup she came over and sat another single packet of ketchup on the table and I refused to take it at that point it was the principle of the matter. Then she went back to the counter and proceeded to discuss our argument with the next customer in line describing that I was dipping every single fry and ketchup which last I checked is what the ketchup is for is to dip your fries in it. It was extremely unprofessional to discuss our encounter with other customers standing at the register and I certainly will not be returning back to his business. Restaurants are a dime a dozen in to try and charge somebody for catch-up or any other condiments is completely unrealistic.

You have to stop in, and get a Sally’s Special, extra spicy. It will make you very happy. I plan on stopping by everytime I’m in the area. Support these folks, they always appreciate it!
