This was my first time visiting this establishment and I was super impressed. The wine list was really great. Way better than any bar I’ve been to in Newark. Service was amazing, Haley was on it!. Atmosphere was great and the food was so good. We had the BLT Pizza and I was very impressed. I will totally be back!

We booked a table for New Year’s Eve at West Church Social. We knew we would not make it on time for the reservations, and they were very accommodating of that which was nice. BUT THEN…. The weather turned on us. We live an hour away from the venue, and about half way there, the roads were bad enough that we decided going back home was the safest option. So my boyfriend called to let them know we couldnt make it. We were pretty disappointed that we couldnt go. We then received an email from Matt, the manager, apologizing that we couldn’t make it due to the weather (something well beyond his control so he had no obligation to do anything for us) Then he offered to let us have a table at another show of our choice. I cant tell you the last time that a business has gone this much out of their way to please a customer. It’s almost unheard of these days. His email was so incredibly kind and thoughtful. I rarely leave reviews, but this act of kindness was very deserving. We will definitely be checking them out for a show hopefully some time soon. Highly recommend based on this experience alone

This is the largest and most vibrant bar in the area. To get a bar experience like this location you have to travel to buckeye lake ( in the warm seasons ) or Columbus. There are many reputable bands that play here throughout the year. There is also activities during the week such as line dancing. There’s a speakeasy in the back if you’re looking for a more laid-back atmosphere. Best bar in town!

Bands DO NOT have a place to load in and stay parked without being blocked in. Hamburgers will never compare to lazy chameleon and you don’t get napkins or plates!! Bartenders are always at opposite end of bar. NEVER COME OUT BEHIND TO SERVICE TABLES!!

Fun for the entire family! One of the best bars I’ve been to in Newark so far! Staff is super friendly. I highly recommend it for a fun night out. Trivia nights on Tuesday starting at 7 pm. Line dancing Thursdays from 7-11 pm for only $5 per person. I believe they have live music on Saturdays. They have a juke box for playing your favorite music. I enjoyed it and plan on going back soon.

My wife and I have been waiting for this place to open since we heard about it. The service was great and we had a very special date night checking it out. The games are on a card system that is easy to reload. Our favorite was the multi cabinet that had a ton of Pac-Man games among many other classics. I can’t wait to see the live space used, and to get some pool in. I’m stoked to see the space used in such a robust way. We’ll definitely be back.

My overall experience was good. The service was a little slow, but not because they weren’t working hard, because they were. It just seemed understaffed for the size of the establishment. Service was friendly and professional, prices a tad high, especially for the food. I ordered the country fried steak. It was extremely disappointing, especially for 13 bucks. And it only came with potato chips . It was basically a banquet patty on a dry basic hamburger bun with canned gravy. No attempt at all in trying to elevate the dish to match the price point. I don’t mind paying a fair price for decent food. I also got the nachos with queso. It was your regular concession stand nachos in the same plastic container, hardly worth the 7 bucks. I did not order a pizza, but did see a couple being served, and they looked decent. The food was extremely disappointing. But the overall atmosphere was great. Other than the food, I really enjoyed my evening and stuck around for 4-5 hrs having drinks and playing pool. I will certainly return, but will likely stop and eat elsewhere before I arrive. I feel my 4 star review is very fair since so many other things they are doing is right. And if they spend a little time revamping the menu and creating higher quality food choices, or just charge a lot lower price to match the quality of the current options. I will gladly change my review to 5 stars if something is done with the food. I look forward to returning in the near future.

Oh you guys…we had been looking at your place for a while and decided tonight we would go in for our first time.
Sadly when we walked in we didn’t know what to do. It’s so wide open but zero direction, so we walked to the bar…unsure of who worked there, but there was a guy with a cast on his hands bent over texting…..so after about a few minutes, he acknowledges us, but not very warm…we felt like we were the burden…we asked how to order things, he took our credit card for a tab, and we ordered drinks. We had to ask how to order food, he said from him as well…
Ok, still not sure how we pay for games, so we had to ask that as well…he did show us, but really just a frosty attitude…so we decided to play some games and order food later…so after a few games, it’s now 615, so we order a BLT pizza from the other bartender/ worker…he was even less of a personality than the cast guy….hardly spoke to us and made us feel like we were cutting in o his texting as well.
We ordered food, and went to try the pool tables…well the table malfunction only gave us 3 balls, so I had to go back to mr personality, who came over and worked on the table and didn’t say one word…just annoyed at us…
Got it working…so we played. Went back to the bar to check on our food. Still nothing, so we went and played basketball….that game also malfunctioned…and Mr personality had to reboot it, and had nothing to say at all once again…so we did finally get to play, but now we are starving…we went back to the bar to see if the pizza was there….nope…finally Mr personality says let me check on Your order…mind you it’s been 45 minutes, and not one other sole had ordered food in there…he comes back and says it’s almost ready….well ts been almost an hour…I’d hope so…
After an hour a lady comes bringing our pizza, and apologized for the wait telling us she’s the only one in the kitchen, and proceeds to show us our BLT pizza that costs 18 dollars with no lettuce…we did not order a BT….we ordered a BLT…..i said look, this is our first time here and this has been a terrible experience, we have been here since 530 and it’s now 730 and we are just getting our food. We will take it to go…she apologized several times and Told us she would remove the pizza from the order, and was sincere. I appreciated that, but the whole experience was such crap I just can’t come back. She went and put lettuce on our BLT, boxed it up and we left. I have to admit, that pizza was amazing when we ate it at home. It was delicious.but, not 1 hour wait and 18 dollar delicious with no lettuce….
We will not return…what a let down as we were excited to come, drink some beers, enjoy some food and play Pac-Man…work on your bartenders personality. Went felt like we were interrupting their texting, and felt like we were the problem.
