The Pho Hanoi Restaurant on Rainier Ave has got to be the best Vietnamese restaurant in the Seattle area. The food was outright delicious and the portions were VERY generous. To top off the food, the service was exceptional and very accommodating. If you’re in the area and looking for something good, don’t miss out on this gem.

We were not really greeted from anyone which we were not looking for it but if you run a business, you havecto make sure you have always someone up front to welcome customers. On that time, there were nobody so had to wait a while for someone to help us or take our order. The food were okay though. Phó seems to not have much that much meat on them. Ribs were taste really great. Suggestion to the management or owner, put a air freshner in the restroom. I am not a perfect person but doing that may give you more positive feedbacks.

Ordered the Chargrilled Pork Bahn Mi and the Chicken Teriyaki plate. Both were delicious. Service was good and the staff was friendly. Newly remodeled interior. Prices are slightly high, but not bad. Lots of options on the menu. Will definitely be coming back.

I went here when they first opened up and I was pleased with the food but the menu was limited because it was a soft opening. Well I came back to see what has changed. There menu has been updated and all dishes were available. I am glad to say that it was delicious and the portions were very generous. The service is very prompt and friendly. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and cheerful. I actually came back two days in a row and brought different friends to introduce them to this new Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood. My friends were just as impressed as I was with the food and service. We will definitely be frequenting this establishment.

Price is on the expensive side for these dishes which are offered at a more reasonable price at ‘similar authentic Vietnamese’ restaurants few miles away.
The food is tasty though and the flavor of their Bun Cha hit the spot. Their service could be better (it might be an ‘off’ day for them), and overall it’s worth a try, especially if one isn’t too price conscious as I am.

We ordered the egg rolls, spring rolls, pad Thai, fried rice and sandwiches. We substituted pad Thai for chow mein. We loved everything! Nothing was greasy and had great flavor. We have tried many places and would like one thing, but not another. This was such a pleasant surprise!

The broth was nasty. Super disappointed. I asked for Bun Rieu but the didn’t have it so I asked for Bun Bo Hue, but what came out was seriously gross. The broth was overly sweet, no depth of flavor, and definitely not BBH.
The only “good” thing we ordered, to go, was pork fried rice. Our bill ended up being $50 which is overpriced for two people. Not authentic and not worth it. Plus service wasn’t great – you can tell it was the owner’s kids. Anything customers needed you had to go to the register to ask – for menus, water, napkins, anything.
The only thing I will give credit for is what was in my soup (noodles, meat, whatever) was cooked well and tasted fine.

I had the house special fried rice. It was excellent!. The owner said I need to come back and try the pho. He insists he makes the best in town with all fresh ingredients. He’s been in the business a long time. He is also trying to get some live music on Friday nights. They only do beer and wine here. The bubble tea was very refreshing too. Sandwiches were affordably priced. Can’t wait to go back and support this local business in Rainier Beach.

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Seattle. Good services and friendly staff. I ordered Bun Cha Hanoi and it was the best I have ever eaten. It has lots of good and tasty food besides pho. I definitely go back again with my wife and friends.
