Walked in wanting just mac’ n cheese, decided to take up Steve on his chicken sandwich with pickles and ranch recommendation. This sandwich is AMAZING! The chicken, biscuit and all the combo, plus at a really great price! Glad I finally stopped in. Steve is very helpful and super nice guy, too!!

My family was craving chicken and fries but try to avoid seed oils so we stumbled upon tonydoms and were happy to have found this spot. With all chicken halal and everything fried in beef tallow, the quality of the meat was delicious. The chicken is fried perfectly with a perfect crunch on the outside and juicy inside. The biscuits are also super delicious. I wish they had seed oil free sauces but overall a great spot with great food! Very happy to have found another go to spot when craving fried chicken.

Chicken fried in Beef Tallow is a whole different game. This might be the best chicken sandwich I’ve had in Jersey so far. There’s plenty of chicken options from wings , drums and thighs to chicken tenders and sandwiches on brioche buns or buttery fresh biscuits. Buffalo ranch sandwich was awesome with crispy juicy tenders and a spicy Buffalo and tangy ranch sauce. Chicken biscuit had same crispy juicy tenders with the ranch and pickles on a fresh biscuit and I could not put either one down. Sides of fresh cheesy Mac and crispy French fries also fried in the beef tallow give a whole new flavor to everything. Fresh crunchy coleslaw as well. It was so good I had to get a box of tenders to go. Small place inside a few stools by the window. Seems most business is to go orders. This is must try chicken.

Cute little chicken shop with a couple well-made options available. With the help of the employee at the front desk I decided to get the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and was pretty happy with it! It had a nice kick without being too spicy, and the pickles and coleslaw were delicious additions. The sandwich was super messy but definitely worth it!

Giving this place a 2, and it’s only for the aesthetics. I am really disappointed to have to rate this so low. I am also in disbelief because the place looked so promising. Heck, the reviews are outstanding. I was in the area and decided to grab lunch on my way home. I ordered the 3 piece box with a biscuit and a side of coleslaw. Came up to roughly $13. Let me tell you, the minute I opened the box of chicken (and something about the box told me everything I needed to know) I immediately noticed that the chicken looked like they were fried for way too long, almost burned-like. The color was dark compared to other reviews I saw. The chicken honestly had zero flavor, zero seasoning, and was dry. I still can not fathom that they sell this. The biscuit was spongy like it was a Pillsbury biscuit, not flaky. And the coleslaw, my goodness, was bad, too. I thought maybe it’d save the meal. But the slaw had no sweetness, more of a weird salty, vinegary flavor.
Management, what is going on in that kitchen? Please revamp your recipe to include some Lawry’s and/or hot sauce. Something, please! The establishment is well thought out, but you missed the mark on the food. Thumbs down for me.

I enjoy going to local places to have a bite to eat whenever I travel. I decided to begin in my hometown of Summit, NJ at a place called #tonydoms Chicken with Attitude. Located on Springfield Ave, Marc Trujillo, the owner, wanted to start up his own place after being an executive chef in New York City in the late nineties. The name Tonydom is named after his two sons, Anthony and Dominic. Marc enjoys cooking and helping out his community by sponsoring events for local sports teams and catering to different businesses. The dining room is intimate, yet you still feel like you are family. I ordered two sandwiches, the Buffalo Chicken and the Chicken Biscuit drizzled with honey. Both sandwiches melted in your mouth. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was huge, three pieces doused with buffalo sauce, drizzled with ranch made the sandwich one of the best I have tried in a while. Next I went for the Chicken Biscuit Sandwich which was drizzled with honey, this definitely made me transported myself to the sands of South Carolina with that southern comfort food. I recommend giving Tonydom’s a try.

This place has to be a joke, right? I’ve had better chicken from corner shacks in Newark, served through bulletproof windows, than what they offer here. The restaurant looks spotless and stylish, so you’d expect the food to match—but no. Just look at my picture: two sad drumsticks and the thinnest thigh I’ve ever seen, plus a biscuit with no jelly or butter. And they had the nerve to charge me $11 for it. I’m never coming back. Maybe this passes for good chicken in Summit or Chatham, where they haven’t had the real deal, but seriously, this place is ruining people’s poultry experience.

Got the buffalo chicken sandwich, it was actually amazing. Would recommend 100%. Guy at the counter/kitchen was really friendly. Food came out in minutes. If I had to complain I would say I wish there were meal options. Al a carte runs you about $14 for a sandwich and fries. But with the quality of the food, I don’t mind. Looking forward to next visit for sure.

Great new chicken joint! Tony greeted and served me with enthusiasm. I really enjoyed eating my delicious fried chicken biscuit with pickles and ranch in a very clean, modern space. Very convenient self-order kiosk if there’s a line, though you may need to ask folks to move aside if they are ordering at the counter.
