My family and I recently stopped into the Calypso Cafe for some coffee and tasty treats. We had been wanting to come here for a while now and we were not disappointed in any way. What a wonderful coffee spot in downtown Franklin. So nice and clean, plenty of seating, fantastic variety of drinks, bakery goods and the service is genuine and warm. Can’t wait to stop by again!

Talk about a hidden gem in Franklin, Ohio! We happen to spot this place and give it a try. Coffee was amazing, better then Starbucks! The pricing was even better then Starbucks! The pastries were so cute. We had a chocolate crossiant that had my mouth watering for another one. They had alot of breakfast options. They can host large groups in there as well.

I love the owner. She makes this coffee shop feel like a second home for local residents in Franklin and out of town visitors. She bakes all of her food fresh and homemade! Her seasonal offerings are to anticipate! ☕️ ❤️

First time eating @calypso. Food was fantastic. As well as the desserts. I had the turkey on a giant croissant. My wife had the chicken salad on a giant croissant. We had fries. There is more than enough for 2 people to share. Very clean and cozy feel inside. The bathrooms are very clean. The owner and staff take very good care of you as soon as you enter.
Plenty of free on street parking as well as free parking behind the bank across the street.

The latte I ordered was perfect for how hot today was and I ordered a creme puff! I had my eye on the one that was behind the display glass but the barista (owner??) insisted on making me a FRESH creme puff! Amazing service and menu!

If you’ve never had a cronut you are missing out! This cafe has beautiful homemade danishes & treats. The owner has a very warm & sweet personality. Cannot recommend it enough!
