I am usually happy with Panda, especially with the generous portion. However, this rime I was sorely disappointed. I ordered a family meal for 5 on christmas eve. Whoever filled the order was quite stingy in the portion. The cartons were so lloosley packed and none of the cartons were filled to the top. I feel like I didn’t have enough food for 5.

The opening day was amazing!! The panda was here lol! Balloons and lots of friendly faces! Everything is clean because it’s new but everyone is greeting in unison… which is kinda cute! Modern atmosphere and a small eating area but enough to seat 42 people and 2 high chairs. The food was delicious I love panda and they certainly nailed the meal! The restrooms were clean and stocked. They have gel soap and the only negative that I will say is there is no changing tables. They have a online pick up station. Fountain drinks and lots of people at the drive through. The drive through is open 30 min after they close the lobby. They don’t have a place to charge your phone so come fully charged. They are hand sanitizing areas and trash cans. The good was great! So glad to have come in! I’ll bring my kids after school! I also got the family meal for $35! Don’t forget to ask for chopsticks! And your fortune @

The food is good and always tastes fresh but they skimp on everything. Most of the time, the boxes are half full. They make no effort to fill them totally full and give you your $’s worth. It’s ridiculous. Watch how they serve. They scoop up a heaping helping of food into the spoon and then only add half the spoonful to the plate, or even take back a little after putting it what I’m guessing is too much. Who’s training the employees? They’re always polite but the quantity they serve is seriously lacking. I know you people know what I’m taking about. I’ve been eating at various PE restaurants for decades and they all do the same thing. While PE is not too expensive, it’s really not worth it if you don’t get a fair amount. I’m not asking for anything free; Just what I pay for! for, that’s hit and miss. It’s not really true Chinese food but it tastes good anyways. So while I do recommend their food, make sure to check the boxes before you leave and ask for more if the amount is not up to your standards. Don’t wait until you get home to check like me and have to leave a negative review of their service.
*I ordered the bigger plate w1/2 & 1/2, orange chicken and Beijing beef. The Beijing beef is what was extremely skimpy. I didn’t even push it down like they do at other Chinese restaurants where they make sure to give you a good amount of food. I’m sure if I did, 3/4 of it would be empty. Disappointing, again.

i went through the drive thru getting a bow with half chowmein half rice and orange chicken. they gave me a bowl full of rice and chicken. So i drive back to panda from my house and i ask to speak to a manager and they said ok and did it and just left it on top of the glass. no apology for the inconvenience or anything. i was hangry too . i get better service at the McDonald’s.

Service was alright, the girl kept cutting me off when I’m trying to tell her the order. but when I got home and saw how my order was shorted… is annoying. 9 dollars for 6 tiny pieces of chicken? The bowl wasn’t even filled to touch the plastic lid. Next time, definitely going to look at my order before heading home. Wasted money for mostly rice and a handful of chicken. Ridiculous. If there is a next time, going to the one on olive.

I like Panda Express good food and very tasty. It’s located in Yosemite Crissing on NE corner G st and Yosemite. They have drive through order and pick up. This store just opened less than a year. There are many parking spaces around the area.

We have more than one Panda Express’ in the town of Merced. The one on Yosemite by the College is most definitely the cleanest, the freshest, and probably the best customer service I would say. Always fair portion size. And the customer service is amazing! Customer service can definitely make or break a place. It can and will determine whether or not I will be visiting a certain location again. In this particular case I drive from one side of town to the other to visit this location. I give it 10 stars! Great job Panda ❤️
