This place is very good with reasonable prices. The sushi did not take long to make. Customer service was good. The rolls are not sloppy and good size. I recommend spicy salmon roll.

Love it!! The place is quite small inside but the staff are polite and the food is incredible. It’s my favourite sushi place nearby. I like things sweet, which I think the food here tends to be (spicy tuna, spicy kani salad, sushi pizza).

The Crazy Tuna, Rainbow and Jalapeño Rolls were delicious. I didn’t take a picture of the Jalapeño Roll. I will definitely be back sometime soon! I highly recommend the Crazy Tuna Roll.

I come here for good tasty sushi and the lunch specials. I can get either choice of 2 ($10)or 3($13) sushi rolls, soup or salad. (I enjoyed the shrimp tempura & spider rolls today) And they have much more. The service is quick and the food prepared well. I also enjoy the way the food is plated..so pretty. I obviously took the pic after I started eating. But that spider web design…how seasonal! I raise 2 chopsticks to Yama Japan. Eat here.

Yama Japanese Cuisine has quickly become one of my new favorite spots for sushi. I’ve ordered takeout here a few times, and each order leaves me impressed. The sushi is always fresh, and each roll I try is delicious—I make a point to try a new one every time, and they never disappoint. Two of my favorites are the Incredible Roll and the Red Phoenix Roll.
The service is consistently friendly and welcoming; everyone I’ve interacted with, possibly the owners, has been genuinely pleasant. I also love that they have cute, unique chopsticks for sale—I couldn’t resist buying a set for just five dollars.
Another highlight is the dumpling soup. The broth is rich and flavorful, making it a perfect complement to their sushi. Yama has definitely become my go-to spot for sushi in the area, and I look forward to many more orders!
