Our Mexican restaurant is known for serving the best tacos and burritos in town, each bursting with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The tacos are a perfect blend of seasoned meats, crisp veggies, and vibrant salsas, all wrapped in a hand made, warm, and soft tortillas. The burritos are hearty and satisfying, filled with savory meats, beans, rice, and just the right amount of spice. Every bite delivers a taste of traditional Mexican cuisine, making our taqueria a local favorite for anyone craving a delicious, genuine meal.

I recently visited this taqueria and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their tacos. I tried the Al Pastor and carne asada tacos, and both were delicious. The tortillas were made in-house, which gave them a fresh and flavorful taste. The salsa they served was not overly spicy, but it still had a good balance of flavors.
We also ordered a burrito and torta to-go. The burrito was a decent size, but it was overwhelmingly filled with rice and lacked sufficient steak. The torta, which I know typically comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapeños, and cheese, was a bit of a letdown. Instead, I received just cheese steak, cilantro, and guacamole.
Overall, the tacos were definitely worth trying, but I believe the burrito and torta could be improved.

Absolutely giddy to find good tacos, like not just ok, but GOOD tacos that I’ll brag to my friends in Houston about tacos just an hour from home. We were in a hurry so we didn’t get the whole experience, but we did get an excellent sampling of Carne Asada, Al Pastor, and Nopales. Everything here has fully developed flavor and the tortillas are delightful! Finally if you are AT ALL a guacamole and horchata person, this is the place to splurge – we will absolutely be back!

These have to be some of the best authentic Mexican tacos I have had. It was my first time seeing/trying cactus as well and it was far better than I expected. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant had a great vibe inside. Plenty of space to eat inside as well. I will definitely be coming back here and trying more of their food.

I heard that this place had the best tacos in the area so l had to check it out myself and these tacos were definitely worth the hype! This Mexican restaurant is located in downtown Wilmington with street parking. They are family owned and operated but as soon as I walked through the door, I could smell freshly made tortillas, so I already knew the food was about to be on point. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and everything was made fresh! The Pollo Asada tacos were amazing and packed with flavor! The Carne Asada Volcan was nice and crispy! It reminded me of a way better higher quality cheesy gordita crunch. This was also my first time trying cactus and I actually really enjoyed the citrusy/tangy flavor especially in combination with the Carne Asada! They also make delicious Agua Frescas in house! They weren’t too sweet at all and my favorite was the Jamaica! Overall, it was a very authentic experience and the owner/staff were extremely friendly. I loved being able to watch them make my tortillas in front of me! Definitely check them out!

Hands down the best Mexican food in Delaware! I’m always searching for the freshest and most authentic Mexican food and this place has taken the crown for me. All because I saw a TikTok video!
The owner is super nice (sorry I didn’t catch his name!) we chatted while I waited for my food and he gave me a sample of all the meats and horchata – both delicious!
I ordered a chicken burrito and a carne asada gringa. I had been fasting for almost 24hrs and I was full after eating just half the burrito and half the gringa. The food is absolutely incredible and exceeded my expectations. 10/10! Already thinking about my next visit.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican tacos, this is the place to be! The flavors are fresh, bold, and true to tradition. The tortillas taste homemade, the fillings are perfectly seasoned, and the salsa add just the right amount of kick.
One of the absolute must-tries here is the volcán tostadas al pastor—crispy, cheesy, and loaded with flavor. They’re a total game changer and pair perfectly with the tacos.
On top of the amazing food, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. You immediately feel comfortable as soon as you walk in, and the staff make you feel like family. The customer service is outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile.
This spot has quickly become one of my favorites, and I can’t recommend it enough. Whether you’re a taco lover or just want a delicious and authentic meal in a friendly setting, you won’t be disappointed!

And let’s talk about the quesabirrias… hands down the BEST around. On top of that, the customer service is amazing, always welcoming, friendly, and makes you feel right at home. 10/10 recommend!

I don’t think we’ll go anywhere else but TEC for tacos in the greater Wilmington area. Horchata is to die for, and every type of taco they offer is fresh and delicious.

First visit – But not our last! We were met at the sidewalk by an employee who had the most positive attitude of anyone I’ve seen all week. He proceeded to describe the overall restaurant, point out the fresh tortillas being made behind the counter, and after we asked him tons of questions he took our order right away. The food is made to order, the tacos were overstuffed with al pastor pork and carne asada beef, and the mandarin soda was cold. What more could you ask for, right? Oh wait, he added in a bag of homemade chips with spicy salsa and fresh guacamole at no extra charge. Even though there was a very clean and well lit dining room, we walked it back to work to where we unbagged it to find a well packaged plate with all the tacos and another with the most amazing burrito we’ve seen in Delaware! 30 minutes later and we were ready for a nap. If you are in Wilmington and need some comforting food that will fill you up, this is the place to visit. I can’t wait until my next lunch!
