Reviews
Once seated (after 25 minutes, and being seated by a server, not the hostess), we waited a bit for the order to be taken, not too bad. Food came without too much wait, though not all at once. But fine, the game is 2.5 hours anyway. The server was pleasant. But drinks were not refilled, water never came. I went to the bar to ask for my own water (which was very warm??), then later got up to refill my own water cup.
The food was as expected, not amazing, but typical for fast casual. They were out of a few of the sauces (which we weren’t told until the food was supposed to be done and we had to choose another).
All in all, they just really need to get themselves organized. I don’t know that it was just a low staffing issue… the team didn’t seem to understand how to do their job. Lots of wandering around with empty hands and NO eye contact. Some servers seemed stressed, but most others just seemed lost or without any sense of urgency or specific direction.
Not sure I’d return.
They should put a movie theater instead of a restaurant I see that to put screens are better than serving a person
Finally a server took our drink orders and was confused when someone asked about which wines they had on happy hour (“red and white” doesn’t cut it.)
Drinks come. Brought wrong wines. She just put them on the table, so we didn’t know which was which.
We ordered appetizers. They came, were cold and average. One person then ordered extra crispy fries, size large. After another long wait, they came, and could not have truly been large – and were cold.
We gave a crappy tip, even though some of wanted to give nothing.
None of us will ever go back. Lots of choices for better food and actual servers who give a care.
When I inquired about my order being ready on time, I was met with attitude, and multiple staff members ignored or dismissed my requests for help. I ultimately had to go to the bar myself to get the manager involved. My order was finally completed at 7:01 PM, over 20 minutes past the scheduled pickup time. The manager offered a $10 gift card for this poor experience, which I felt was inadequate and declined.
This level of service was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, online reviews suggest my experience is not unique at this location. I have sent a detailed email about this incident to Buffalo Wild Wings corporate, the brand president, and the CEO of Inspire Brands, as I hope the company will take meaningful action to address the ongoing issues here.
Update:
After posting this review and contacting corporate, I received a personal call from James, Director of Operations for Buffalo Wild Wings’ western region. He could not have been kinder or more professional. James took full accountability, offered me a refund and a coupon, and was clearly committed to making sure the brand takes care of its customers. I really appreciated his outreach and the way he made things right.
I ordered online, picked up and got home to missing items. I called to let them know that we were missing several items. When they told me they don’t offer refunds or credits, I told them I was surprised by this because usually when something like this happens they can credit the phone number, and that I thought maybe corporate could help. The person I spoke to was Vanessa, and she said “call corporate over some celery” and hung up on me. First off there was much more than celery missing, but the rude response was unacceptable. To be hung up on is completely disrespectful when I was not rude nor disrespectful back. After that I called back several times to talk to a manager and Blake finally answered after they deliberately answered and hung up multiple more times, and said he was the manager. I explained the situation again in full composure, and then he ALSO hung up on me. Never again will I spend a dime at that location, which is actually disappointing because my family loves it and we just moved to the area from a different state where the BWW was really good.
