A good Indian and vegetarian restaurant, with the regional cuisine of the state of Gujarat – the state of “Mahatma” Gandhi. The food is served quickly and is good quality and quantity. I had a large thali, but will probably get the smaller one next time.

Good food..
Delhi chaat and Dahi Sev Puri were great!
Authentic Gujarati style… Slightly on the sweeter side .. But taste is very good.
Service can be a bit slow at times when it is crowded

Being Navratri it was about time to try vegetarian specialities and on a friends suggestion went over to this one for an authentic gujrati Thali experience. This place is located right in front of Red-chillies in Milpitas on a strip mall. It’s a typical gujrati restaurant with around 70 people seating area, carrying some snacks, preferring cash payments & hand written daily specials on the board. We went in and ordered couple thalis, it comes with Rotis / Rice / Daal (Gujrati version) / Undiyo / Bhaji / Raita / Chole / Mutiya and mango cream. Rotis were very tasty prfectly soft and fresh, Mutiya and Bhaji were also amazingly awesome, chole was not spicy enough so did not entice my taste bud that much, was trying undiyo for the 1st time so kind of 50-50 in taste. I personally liked the daal it was kind of tangy with some peanuts thrown in, went good with rice.
They serve the food in plastic plates kind of easy to dispose. Overall, I liked the food quality and taste as it acted as a good alternative for my non-veg addicted tongue.

One of the authentic place to have gujrathi thali. Good and tasty food, while the service is a little slow but the best part is quality of food which takes the upper hand. The staff is friendly. Will recommend n return again

I find that a lot of people will eat pretty much anything. And for them, this place is probably great. But if you’re interested in a meal that makes sense to eat, I’d skip this place. The Bhel out here is like no other – it has no potatoes, onions or chutney. Only puffed rice and sev served in a styrofoam box. Their sev puri was even worse, and doesn’t deserve space on here. I’m glad they took my order back and refunded my money. Plus the guys making the food looked like they hadn’t showered in weeks.

One Thali costed $ 10.99 and it did not have enough of anything ( Worst taste)

There was Kheer in the Sweet ( let say 20 ML ) and that too without Rice.

They will charge 75 Cents if you use your credit card to pay ( I did not see any other Indian Restaurant which charge this kind of money).

When you pay by Cash , they charge you 3 $ extra as taxes..

So the only motivation behind their restaurant is to earn money and they do not concentrate on quality.

When we complained about the quality of food , the person on the reception was RUDE and suggested us not to come back again.

My Suggestion , IF YOU DONT VALUE YOUR MONEY , PLEASE GO THERE.

THANKS..

Best experience of Indian home cooked food in US so far- I had Thali, the contents were more than my appetite but i was able to finish it completely, because of the homely taste.

Best place for authentic Gujarati food. Great taste and quality of food. Makes the best Rotis in the bay area. Don’t miss the ‘Lilwa Kachori’ if you happen to visit.

Good for trying out gujju food Their kadi was really tasty. Other curries were so so. Also note that thali here is slightly more expensive than other similar restaurants I have been to.
