Was visiting from out of town and my husband and I always like to try the local Chinese restaurants. We got 2 lunch specials and an order of Szechuan chicken and spring roll appetizer. The Szechuan chicken was our favorite. Crispy and a bit spicy (I added more of my own red pepper).

Just moved to town from a city, so of course lots of different restaurants. My husband and I love eating out a lot. So we are so excited to have found this American Chinese restaurant.
Crab ragoons are one of our favorite items at Chinese restaurants. This one has the best crab ragoon I’ve ever had. The honey chicken was very good too. I’m someone who is very picky about chicken btw.
I was only a little disappointed it seems the combo meals that come with pork fried rice, the PFR doesn’t have veggies in it. That said for the price it’s all good! Going to try the plain pork fried rice to see if that has veggies or if I can add them (:
We ordered two combo meals and the delicious crab ragoons; it came to $31.75.

Flavor was great! Way over cooked General tso chicken. More rice then chicken in combo platter. Pork fried rice had no pork in it.

I almost walked out the minute I walked in. It was soooo disgusting! The kitchen was cluttered with dirty bowls and pots. Just lying everywhere. But I decided to give it a try because of the above 4 star reviews. The lady taking orders was rude and uninterested in her job. I looked around for a Health inspection certificate but couldn’t find one. I wish I had listened to my initial instinct and kept walking.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! As others have said, the fried rice is just yellow rice, no vegetables or meat…nothing but yellow rice. General Tso’s chicken had no flavor or spice (asked for spicy, got nothing), crab rangoon tasted like butter not cream cheese, eggrolls had no flavor either . All went into the garbage. I should have just thrown $25 out of my car window, at least someone would have found it and used it more wisely. This place is horrible!

General Tso chicken wasn’t spicy at all, the chicken fried rice lacked flavor and had no vegetables in it, and the chicken wings were overcooked/burned. The crab rangoons & egg rolls were fine. Seems like a slight tweak in the seasonings & a little more effort could go a long way in making the food better. Also, you have to pay for fortune cookies now, apparently. That seems pretty cheap and greedy. What do those cost to purchase in bulk? 5-10 cents a piece?

Went in hoping for a decent meal but left feeling super let down. I tried the General Tso Chicken, an egg roll, and the fried rice. It was terrible. The chicken was barely edible, tasted more like overcooked rubber than anything else, the egg roll tasted kinda old, and the rice? Dry and pretty much flavorless. I remember coming here when the old owners were around, and the food used to be so much better. Missing those days. Would think twice before coming back. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

Used to like the food here. Since the new owners, I tried to give them a few chances, but every time it’s been bad. One of the times we got pepper steak and I kid you not it had one pepper in it. The rest was onions and a little steak. The place needs owners that care again.

This is the best Chinese just outside of livingston county! We have been to many places and this place is so good that everyone ate almost all of it that same night and I didn’t get pictures of any of it. So so so good! It’s even good cold which Chinese is normally not good cold but this is!! Very impressed with them! We will continue to go here for our Chinese from now on!
