Loved the food at this location. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. The steak of the Lomo was so juicy and the fries had that perfect crunch. The the Noodles for the Tallarines were soo creamy and the steak was perfectly cooked. We also got the home made chicha and it was soo good. Definitely recommend trying this place out. 10/10

I’m typing and thinking at the same time, trying to find the right words to describe how delicious the food was. The portions are huge! Keep in mind that this is a small restaurant and you will have to wait for the food to be served; we drove over an hour and it was all worth it, we will definitely come back ❤️

A Hidden Gem of Authentic Peruvian Flavor!

Mario’s Restaurant y Pollería is an absolute delight! The food is amazing—every dish is beautifully prepared, bursting with flavor, and true to authentic Peruvian tradition. I tried the Seco con Frijoles and the Ceviche con Jalea, and both were outstanding. The seco was rich and tender, paired perfectly with creamy beans, and the ceviche was fresh and vibrant, with the crispy jalea adding the perfect crunch. You can taste the care and heritage in every bite.

The owner is incredibly pleasant and welcoming, making you feel like family from the moment you walk in. It’s rare to find a place that combines such genuine hospitality with top-tier cuisine.

I’ll definitely be coming back—and bringing friends! Highly recommend to anyone craving real Peruvian food and a warm, memorable dining experience.

Came in with my family being greeted by the staff taken care of immediately, the service here was amazing and the food was outta of this world. The rotisserie chicken had such good flavor in every bite. Everything was seriously delicious, thank you !

Updating this review almost after 6+ months since last visit and the food is still absolutely delicious. This place deserves more love. My gf and I love the rotisserie chicken here.

I honestly can say the only thing he has that is awesome is his green sauce (ahi), I bought a chicken literally at 12pm and although it had flavor it was hard, ordered a salchipapa which it’s just french fries and hotdogs besides that’s $10, normally $7 or $8 it was chicken hot dogs, I saw when the lady went next door too buy it, and it was NASTY, trust me when he first opened he was better, now definitely not worth my money. The lomo was ok now he jacked it up from $14 to $17.
