Nice atmosphere inside, slightly modern with a comfortable feel. Service was okay, never told us her name but was sweet. The burger was almost $19, and felt small without much flavor. Asked for medium and was overcooked. $62 for two without any alcoholic drinks.

First time going with the family. Our server Matthew was polite & gave us good food recommendations. We were seated in the patio & the scene was comforting. They set up the heater since the night is chilly & our kids appreciated the ambient. We will definitely stop by again.

Nice restaurant, great service.
Grill at the bar is a nice experience . The beef patty was pretty BIG 10oz cooked to perfection. We ordered the texas BBQ Burger and the Jack Daniel’s Burger and they were both super yummy .

We went straight to the burgers with wjat it already comes with amd yup yummy. The sweet potato fries are still cooked to perfection, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and extremely fresh.

Happy hour was well worth it. $6 bucks fpr massive appetizers. Happy hour is worth it.

You can select what type of bun you want for your burger. I went with a pretzel bun and the wifey with a butter bun .

I love the coleslaw shopped tiny and soo tasty. They carry an old favorite beer of mine Abita Purple known also as Purple Haze such a darn good beer. Ashley our bartender was really nice and her hospitality was exceptional very sweet We will be back again real soon.

Love the original location in Hoffman Estates so decided to try the new location. Went there just to grab a bowl of the French onion soup and an appetizer. After we got our food, the soup was extremely cold, barely room temperature and the baked cheese on top wasn’t even melted. The quesadillas that we got or maybe 90° temperature. Asked the server to come back said that I’d like to have the soup re-done. It was really cold and they brought it back out the second time and the soup was maybe another 5° warmer but still not even close to being safe to eat. After the manager who is the bar back at the time came out took my soup back 15 to 20 minutes later comes out and tells me my soup was 140°, which is a bold face lie because at that temperature it would burn your mouth if you where to eat it. I would never recommend going to this place when you complain about food twice, and the manager wants to have an argument and lie to you and then tells you you have to pay for your food. You didn’t even eat. It is embarrassing. I would stay far away from this place. You’re probably going to get food poisoning at one point

On a Friday in March we went to The Assembly in Dundee. We got fast attentive service at the bar, ordering a couple of the new-to-this-area beers, the Yuengling lager. Being a Friday in Lent we ordered the fish fry and a tuna melt. Both arrived in pretty short order. The fish in this perch fish fry was cooked perfectly and served piping hot. The tuna melt looked great too. I’d been to the location in Hoffman Estates many times. Seems like this one is consistently good too.

This place is a nice addition to the dining in the area. Great spot for burgers and brews. Their patio is the selling point in my opinion. Temperature controlled, but still breezy. A very nice place and I will return. The fish tacos were a little bland and I didn’t love the flavor of the barbecue sauce but that is a simple personal preference. Nothing wrong with what they offer.

We have been looking forward to having this place open up since we loved their other location. 4 burgers were ordered only 2 were made close to meet our request. Food service was a bit slow, bit nothing horrible. Place was busy and we will continue to visit in the future. Waitress was extremely friendly and fast with drinks and refills

Tried out the Assembly for the first time! The atmosphere and aesthetic was very impressive! The food was pretty good, I am not a huge burger guy, but I had a quesadilla and enjoyed it. Service was also nice. Called in and talked to Courtney who was very kind and let me know they are open on the 4th of July and to stop by if we are hungry :). Will be back to explore the menu more!

As a seasoned food and restaurant reviewer, I was delighted to find The Assembly’s newest location in West Dundee living up to the high standards set by their esteemed Hoffman Estates establishment. The exceptional cuisine and impeccable service, marked by the presence of an engaged owner and a convivial atmosphere, truly set this eatery apart.

Upon our arrival at The Assembly, promptly at their noon opening, we found ourselves among the first few groups to be graciously welcomed by the hostesses and the affable owner. Our server, Alyssa, promptly attended to our beverage needs and ensured our swift seating.

Although the building is still undergoing minor renovations, it is evident that considerable effort has been put into remodeling the space. The majority of the restaurant has been transformed, while the foyer retains a nostalgic touch reminiscent of the Chili’s that once occupied the premises.

As lunchtime patrons continued to arrive, the atmosphere remained pleasantly relaxed, with the hum of conversation and music at an agreeable level—a testament to the establishment’s well-balanced ambiance.

We commenced our culinary journey with the Loaded Potato Skins, an appetizer that, although seemingly simple, often falls short in execution. The Assembly, however, exceeded expectations, delivering a truly delectable rendition of this classic dish.

For my entrée, I opted for the original Bionic Burger, but with a twist—a pretzel bun instead of the traditional butter bun. The result was a triumphant recreation of the flavors I fondly recall from their Hoffman Estates location, cooked to perfection. While the Char Burger and Parmesan Burger remain favorites of mine, I was eager to assess this new locale’s Bionic Burger prowess.

Our table also enjoyed a succulent grilled steak adorned with garlic butter and a generous portion of fish and chips. Both dishes were superb, though I found the homemade tartar sauce to be a tad too mustard-forward for my taste.

As the restaurant filled with hungry patrons, the quality of our service remained unshakable. We settled our bill and departed, replete and gratified, with the certainty that we would return to evaluate The Assembly’s continued progress in the future.

This was our first time here and will come back. My wife enjoyed the perch dinner while I enjoyed the ribs. Both meals we ordered baked potatoes and they were cooked perfectly. The same can be said for the perch(she was a happy girl) and ribs. My ribs were fall off the bone as the menu started and made this guy very happy. Even better was the sauce, it was well balanced with a side of ‘sassy’. While you’re known for your burgers and will try them at another time, your other menu items scored points as well.
