Amazing! The staff was friendly and the food to die for! I had the hush puppies, catfish Po boy and spicy garlic potatoes and it was all perfect! The fried food was fried crispy and light without being greasy. The catfish was so fresh and delicate tasting. Loved every bite. Definitely check it out if you’re in the dirty ‘dell!

This was the worst smelling seafood place I have ever been to. I did not want to stay but my husband did. So you stand there, look at a menu while waiting in line. Then you order and pay. Wait for a table while standing in line. Then you seat yourself with a little plastic number and wait. At this point you see just how dirty the place really is. I had decided I wasn’t eating. We watched as they gave our food to the next table 30 minutes after sitting down. After telling us its 25 minutes before our dinner was cooked again we left without eating. Did I mention we drove 300 miles out of our way for Valentines day? The only saving grace was I didnt have there any longer and look at this nasty nasty place

The atmosphere was that of a down home crawfish boil. The young lady that took our order was kind and very professional. I noticed that the menu also included a roast beef and gravy poboy. I haven’t had one in a long time. Due to most places have turned to making it as cheap as possible, usually sliced thin with ajus sauce, instead of slow cooked gravy. But not this place, they make it the old fashion way. I was smiling the whole time I was eating it. My wife had the fish and shrimp plate. She said that the fish was good but the shrimp was over cooked. Maybe the fryer was off a little that day. But all in all it’s a place I would go again.

While many come to buy bulk fresh seafood at this market, my daughter and I totally love their steamed seafood in their restaurant. Service has always been outstanding. Steamed seafood has always topped the charts. GREAT place, all around.

We visited last week & we were served crawfish that had been sitting out in a bucket. We sat down & tried to eat them, but they were awful. They were soft, black on the inside, and had a very gritty taste as if they hadn’t been cleaned. Would not recommend getting your crawfish here! We got up & left 5 lbs of crawfish on the table. Hope this helps.

We stopped here on a whim, my husband, a New Orleans native, said this is some of the best crawfish and snow crab that’s he’s had in a while! The seafood is fresh juicy and the flavor is amazing! HIGHLY recommend:)

Ashley, Hayden, and Angelina ( the other one) were very helpful in making my first visit great. Oyster and shrimp po-boy was excellent, perfectly fried oysters and shrimp, fully dressed sandwich and fresh bread. One of the best oyster po-boys that I’ve had.
Duck and andouile in the gumbo was great, though the gumbo was a little thin for my taste.
Very clean seating area and service counter. Plenty of parking, and open later than most places makes Pearls a great choice for a late dinner.

This is a seafood market and restaurant. There is something for everyone in my opinion. The charbroiled oysters were awesome. I got fried meat pies that were a little bit over cooked for my liking but that’s OK. The gravy was awesome and the filling was spot on.
The ambience of this family owned restaurant is really great and the mural on the back wall is awesome of Lake Pontchartrain.

1st time here since moving back to Slidell after eight years.
Ordered two poboys, side of mac and cheese, hush puppies and fried pickles.
Order was missing all of the sides.
Girl at the counter wasnt really interactive
Place was empty and quiet.
Of the food we got, it was delicious. Just would have liked my whole order. That’s on me for not double checking.

I wish I could have given no stars. I went into this restaurant with my grandson and granddaughter and I live in Atlanta and I have never been there before. There was no host or hostess to tell you that you needed to get your own utensils or your own ketchup or whatever you needed. No one mentioned getting your own condiments. So that was confusing then my granddaughter got her food and it had hair in it. So we had to send it back. There was no apology about the hair. There was no I’m sorry. The only thing they said was they would remake it. Well they remade it and then it wasn’t cooked well enough. They also forgot to send the fries that went with her order. This experience was awful and to have spent this type of money in an establishment and receive this horrible service is unbelievable. They were not friendly. It was awful and I spent $67 in that restaurant. I wish I could’ve gotten back every penny because it was horrible. The food was bad. The atmosphere was worse, and the people were unbelievable not friendly, not warm and certainly not welcoming. I would hate to say that it was because we were people of color, but that’s what I’m thinking.
